This place is beautiful. Food was very good. Compliments to the chef. Server was not very knowledgeable and a bit arrogant. One of the wines was a bit musty, but the name wines were good.

Had the most enjoyable dinner last night. Aliyah was our server and took excellent care of us. The food was absolutely amazing! Fried Green Tomatoes are a must, as well as the Caesar Salad and Lasagna. My friend had the Shrimp and Eggplant Parmigiana and was impressed with the overall taste and size of the shrimp. Would definitely recommend Farmers Commons to those looking for the perfect place to celebrate or just have a wonderful meal.

I was sadly disappointed with my experience at The Vineyard. It came highly recommended but to my dismay, the experience fell short. 1) I told the waitress (Aliyah) first thing that I would be treating my parents and to please give me the bill. My father contested this. I turned to the waitress and repeated my request to have the bill at the end. I was shocked when she said to me, "Who will leave the greater tip?" 2) The food for our table came out in increments- first, my pizza; 10 minutes later and after asking the waitress to check on it, came my parents burger; then, another 8 minutes or so, my son's burger came out. 3) I don't appreciate going to a fancier restaurant and seeing the wait staff wearing spandex pants/leggings who when bending over you can see the tattoos on their backside and underwear. I would have expected higher standards from such a restaurant. 4) The music was great! In fact, hearing Rodney play was the impetus for us making a reservation. However, I think it was a little loud for such a small eating area. His playing would sound great played outdoors, too. All in all, I was very disappointed and do not think that I will be back. I am an Airbnb owner and I am always looking for places to recommend to my guests; The Vineyard at Florence will not be one of them.

Everything was wonderful! The food was what you hope to get for the price. Everything was of the best quality, fresh ingredients and expertly prepared. The atmosphere is elegant but casual at the same time. The wine list is diverse and unique with some great wines to choose from by the glass or the bottle.

Server was most likely new to the business (forgot plates and silverware and took awhile to come back so we could ask for them). Food had good flavor but was exceptionally salty. And I love salt. We will go back and give another try. There’s always a possibility of an off night. Great ambience and nice patio area.
