You won't find a neighborhood restaurant anywhere close to Greenville doing what chef Shawn Kelly set out to do: provide both neighbors and visitors alike the Upstate's freshest and most plentiful meats, produce, and products, both as a dine-in and carryout option.

This concept supports the idea that farmers and chefs can make a living supplying a community with its daily necessities, while also encouraging enjoyment of a simple meal of a sandwich or steak, chop, or bake.

Just imagine: Wednesdays become your favorite lunch day of fresh and locally-sourced soups and salads with a friend. Then you get a favorite bottle of wine to bring home, coupled with carefully chosen side dishes and the best burgers and fresh Carolina seafood in Greenville to throw on the grill.     The was Fork & Plough's first time experimenting with a Sunday evening meal. So please factor that into these comments. Service was excellent. They ran out of one item very early (our reservations were 6:30). We tried six different items among the small plates and entrees. One (tempura shrimp) was outstanding. And the tomato toast was surprisingly better than we expected. The other four items were kind of "meh" TBH. Not bad. Not great -- for the prices. Adam was an excellent server. We were happy to see the good turnout they had for their first Sunday evening effort. We WILL be back.

    We ate during the Sunday July 6 Tapas and Wine event. We had the peach salad, beef carpaccio, octopus paella and charcuterie board. The food was delicious, and the servings were huge (not small plates!). Our server Adam was great and ensured all our food was gluten-free as requested. Overall, a very enjoyable evening.

    My husband and I love going here for brunch. The food is delicious! We shared the plum tartlet, which was fabulous. He had the lamb burger and I had the classic breakfast.

    Great service. Unusual menu but food was great. Noise was a little much for us old timers, but we understand there are those who enjoy that energy.

    Vegetable plate was very good but VERY large. The burger was excellent. Overall a great experience for our first time visit from out of town.
