   An absolutely beautiful hotel property. The restaurant is lovely and looks out over the swimming pool area and fire pits. The food was excellent, particularly the Butterfish appetizer. The Surf and Turf Ramen was an explosion of flavors. The service was attentive and my server, Daniel, was cordial and professional. Overall, a wonderful evening, and I look forward to returning the next time I’m in Sedona.

   What a beautiful place in the world. Apon arriving you are taken via luxury golf cart to the restaurant which is in the middle of the property. We arrived early to enjoy a cocktail by the fire overlooking the pool overlooking the red rocks. The drinks were very special and not at ordinary. Our meal inside was also unique with flavors that danced in your mouth and were amazing to look at as well. The service was impeccable and our evening at Forty1 was one to remember.

   My husband and I really enjoyed dinner. Food was excellent, service was great. Only complaint was noise level and location of our table. At times it was hard to hear my husband, music was loud and restaurant was crowded. Our table was located by the hostess stand and coat check so that may have also contributed to the distraction.

   Our entire wait staff was excellent and attentive, led by Scott who had terrific recommendations for drinks, appetizer, entree and dessert. I went with each recommendation and had a world-class meal.

   Of the many amazing dining experiences my wife and I have had in Sedona, none have surpassed the evening we recently shared at Forty1. From the initial greet from our great server, to the beautiful live music played all night, and of course the incredibly thoughtful and perfectly executed menu, we were without critique of even a single item. For example, a simple Wedge Salad we shared was so delicious, we battled for the last bite, forever altering our hope for what a salad can be. The buffalo short rib was perfect; the temperature, the textures, the flavors, the presentation. When the evening finally came to an end 2.5 hours later, we found ourselves saddened that it was over. We will be back, and every day until then, every meal before our next at Forty1, will require patience that few dining experiences would be worth the discipline. Great Job Team at Forty1!
