   We enjoyed an exceptional chef’s tasting meal for my wife’s birthday. The wine pairings were fantastic. Service was both professional and friendly!

   Great place, great service but expensive for what it offers. The food is not great at all, at least what we ordered.

   Mike and the team made our night outstanding- the service was very good, the dishes were tasty (small one - excess of brownish sauce in 2 dishes), all the special touches from the team, great help with the wine choice. Loved every moment of being in Frades ❤️

   Geweldig mooie inrichting en super bediening alleen jammer dat alles zo snel achter elkaar opgediend werd. Half 10 aanwezig half 12 de deur uit!

   The good: very quiet and lovely place — great ambiance. My wife is gluten free and they made accommodations for her, as well. That alone meant a lot to us. The presentations are very thoughtful and nice, as well. Opportunities to improve: We got the tasting menu with wine pairing but the service timing was off. We often got the wine pairing several minutes after the food was served. The plates are small so we ate what we had before it got cold so we didn’t get to enjoy the wine with each meal. We were also disappointed that the servers never informed us what each meal was. We ordered the tasting menu but didn’t recall every detail of it. When the servers brought us our food they placed it in front of us each time and walked away, so in all honesty we are not sure what exactly we had each meal. The food was OK but there was some overlap in the tasting menu. For example, we had elements of one dish on the next dish as well so it wasn’t something new each time(Shrimp taco and the raw shrimp dish to follow). Overall, we recommend and would try again but wasn’t the experience we hoped for based in other reviews.

   For our last dinner in Milano before departing for the USA we thought to dine, Sardinian, at Frades Porto Cervo. The evening was truly delightful from the minute we entered the restaurant. Great décor, very attentive and professional staff, wide selection on menu, presentation ,and each course was delicious. I highly recommend you reserve one night in Milano to enjoy this restaurant.
