Located in East Nashville - It’s New York-style Italian, thanks to Frank Castronovo and Frank Falcinelli, who’ve brought their 20-year-old celebrated Frankies 457 Spuntino south from Brooklyn, complete with the antipasti, cured meats, and housemade pasta that made the original famous. This was an outstanding meal. We went to dinner with some friends and we got an assortment to taste each others since this was our first time. With the help of our attentive server Alex, we started with the Antipasto Plate and it was very good. For dinner we had the Cavatelli & Sausage, Eggplant Marinara, Porchetta and the Chicken Scarpariello. All of them we fabulous with our favorites being the Cavatelli. We also got a side of meatballs which were very good too. We finished the night having a dessert each: tiramisu, creme brulee, ricotta cheesecake and then the prunes with mascarpone. The clear winner for dessert was the cheesecake. Highly recommend stopping in for dinner, we will be back. We have also heard great things about the pizza and intend to grab some in the future.

Very nice experience. Staff very friendly and hospitable. Was a bit noisy. Homemade focaccia a d olive oil are delightful. Beet and avocado salad are a must. Suggest grabbing a “desert” slice of pizza from the pizza shop after meal. One of the better slices in Nashville.

Seriously one of the best dining experiences I've had in years. Food, beverages, ambiance, and especially the service were just spectacular!

Staff was exceptional. Went to the bar before our table was ready and our bartender was friendly and helpful. Servers were also great and made us feel at home. All the food was excellent and the atmosphere was great.

Loved it! Had dinner with a client and the four of us were sat a table near their collection of wine. Service was solid and the food was excellent

We loved our dinner at Frankie's. Fantastic warm service. Absolutely delicious food. And they put us at a table where we could hear each other and relax. It was everything we wanted in a night out. I started with the Little Gem Salad which was as good as a salad could be. The lettuce was so fresh and tender, the Castelvetrano olives had a zing and the dressing was top-notch. The waitress told us next time we should try the Caesar which is the best in the city, which I believe. My husband had the lentil soup which he enjoyed. Next I had the Chicken Scarpariello which was unbelievable flavorful and perfectly cooked. The fennel sausage in it was just bursting with flavor. I'm not a big fan of heat, and it's a bit hot, but not so hot that it overwhelmed the phenomenal flavor. All in all, a hugely successful dish. My husband loved the parpadelle with lamb ragu. I can't remember a recent meal he enjoyed more. We ended with the Chocolate Tart which was so good, I'll be thinking of it for a long time. Velvety, deeply flavorful and not too sweet. Deep chocolate perfection. And very rich, so I was glad it wasn't too large a piece. All in all, I can't remember a Nashville meal we've enjoyed this much in years. A+ to Frankies!
