FYR represents the metaphorical hearth of downtown Columbus with the centerpiece of the kitchen being a wood-fired grill led by renowned Argentine chef, Sebastian La Rocca. Located within Hilton Columbus Downtown, the use of fire & smoke is incorporated into every dish to bring the historical ritual of cooking over an open flame tableside. Hostess was helpful and friendly. Bartending was on point. Ambience was warm, cozy, and welcoming. Music selection was noticeable and added to a great vibe. Our server was knowledgeable, personable, and technically proficient. Chef La Rocca was gracious, and was attentive to his guests. He and his kitchen staff take obvious pride in their craft. The end results…from appetizers thru dessert…were delicious! A little “Pura Vida” right in downtown Columbus!!

Sorry I was not impressed at all with your restaurant and probably won’t be back. Way overpriced, lesser service, out meals were cold. When someone is paying $60 for a meal and it’s cold there’s a problem. Hopefully you all can address the issues but it was midweek and not very busy.

Food and dinner was great. We came as group of six before a concert at nationwide. The restaurant was a 6 minute walk to Nationwide. The restaurant only seats full parties, so we did have to wait a few minutes for our party to arrive to be seated. Once our party was there we were set promptly. The ambiance and open kitchen setting was wonderful, great music too. It was perfect for entertaining a group for an evening out. Excellent cocktails and the food was phenomenal. We had the parrillada and all the meat was cooked to perfection. Service was great! We really enjoyed watching the chef run the line and engage with us as guests. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful space and service and ambience. Food came out on time and wonderful presentation. Grilled items had delicious flavor. Ignore the fact that it’s in a hotel and experience it for yourself.
