In 1974, George and his wife Joan ventured out to what was then considered the country. They found the perfect location on the shores of Diamond Lake. A great deal has changed since then, but our commitment to service and great food hasn’t. We welcome you to visit and see what’s new. We booked for Easter and had quite a large group. Had very nice service and the food was excellent. We were not rushed and were there over two and half hours. Very, very nice experience at a Restaurant.

Great view out front window of Diamond Lake. The Greek chicken was a big portion and very good. The service was great!

It was a little pricey, but we were entertaining family from Ireland so it was worth it. Service was excellent, noting there were 3 tables in use in main dinning room. Very pleasant and efficient. Only concern was that I had been told that they were able to Accommodate Gluten Free request. Had no bread and no pasta. That said there was enough choices that it did not leave anyone hungry. Proportion were very large and filling.

It had been quite a long time since I had dinner at Gale Street. But it won't be that long again. Our dinner was delicious and service was very pleasant.

Gale St is a solid, if not spectacular restaurant. They specialize in ribs, and again they are good, not great. A little on the dry side, but good flavor and sauce. The prime rib is similar. The cocktails were good and it is a great summer spot to see the lake. The service was extremely slow on this particular night....without the restaurant being crowded at all. If I was going to give is a true number score, it would be 3.8-3.9 out of 5.0. A solid restaurant but not a gem.p
