Gatsby is a reimagined American diner by KNEAD Hospitality + Design. With favorites like the famous monte cristo sandwich, fried chicken or today's blue plate special, Gatsby brings you back to the days of the diner, but from a fresh perspective. Whether you crave breakfast at any time of day or a smashburger & a milkshake, Gatsby is the perfect place. Located at the corner of Half and N Streets, directly in front of Nats Park's Centerfield Gate, and overlooking the ballpark from our second floor dining room, Gatsby is the perfect pre/post game venue from which to celebrate.

Went here for brunch with friends. Food and service were good. We were seated promptly once they opened by right in front of the DJ (& in an empty restaurant). We asked to move & were relocated 2 tables down, but the DJ turned up the music which defeated the purpose of moving & just seemed obnoxious considering we were some of the only people in the restaurant at the time. We’ve been here before for bites & drinks; highly unlikely to return for brunch.

The ambience is decent, the food is good, but the service is horrible. While our drink and appetizer orders were taken fairly quickly upon arrival, it went downhill from there. By the time we were ready to leave, it took over 30 minutes from the first time we asked, to get our bill. One of our party ordered an item that was never received during the dinner, but was brought out as we were walking out the door along with the bill for it.

A brunch restaurant ran out of Bloody Mary’s Will just leave it at that Everything else just ok Won’t go back

We always love coming to dine at The Gatsby. The art deco decor is unique and cheerful, it sets the right vibe for dinner with friends. Marcel was welcoming and checked on our table during the meal. Our waitress, Emily, was extremely attentive and provided great recommendations when we had questions The chicken pot pie, meatloaf and brisket sandwich ware equally delicious and perfect for a winter night. Don’t miss the deviled eggs or Reuben rolls for starters.

This was our first time here, we came for my siblings birthday and I must say Gatsby did not disappoint. From the ambience to the service to the food, everything was top notch. The place was pretty packed but that didn’t slow down the service. Our waitress was such a delight. Glad we chose Gatsby, I’ll definitely be back.
