Sad to say, dining alone, had a meeting in Birmingham & chance of a concert. Early meal, quiet restaurant, my booking was confirmed by very pleasant happy staff. The advantage of an online menu is that I had already decided my choices. However the choice of a cocktail & I was persuaded to push my usual safe boundaries with some odd sounding Wagu drink. First sip & I was unsure, however it soon grew on me & was also a nice contrast to the salmon tartare in some taco’s. My main was Ancho - a ribeye medium rare with chips, I was suggested a Chimichurri sauce. It added nicely to the beef & chips. So did a glass of the english Roebuck Estates Classic Cuvee, which I will happily admit was up to the standard of some of the better champagnes. It is a great pity that my internal system cannot sustain much food. As usual I did feel bad not clearing my plate. My server was a delight, she kept a discreet eye on me. No pressure sales but offering items that felt appropriate. I do so wish I had not been dining alone, this place would be a delight with a small party. Hopefully that will be next time. I would also like to add that I was awake all through my concert - none of the postpradial over stuffed feelings. It was so nice to have a quiet meal, without any stresses or pressures & to be served by someone who smiles all the time & was even a pleasant conversationalist. This restaurant chain is one that has missed my radar. As I travel round the country I will be sure to seek out their other locations. Most enjoyable

Amazing business lunch. Food was great and service too. Really nice restaurant but music maybe a bit too loud for a business lunch.

Sensational experience. Chisomo is a God send. Very attentive, good banter and any slight changes we needed he done it. I’ve been Gaucho before but this was the best experience I’ve had there thanks to him.

We’ve been a few times now and for the prices we pay there is a real lack of value and experience. A night out for a 50th birthday was just flat and disappointing
