Welcome to Chandler’s all-new, all-day hangout featuring gourmet from-scratch fare served daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dedicated to using clean, organic ingredients, and always free from seed oils, our dishes are served up in a welcoming space that offers a dining experience that’s as nourishing as it is enjoyable. Housed inside a beautifully restored mid-century building on Washington Street, our name is both a nod to the Founding Father, as well as our welcoming neighborhood approach. Serving up a robust counter-order breakfast, and full-service lunch and dinners, George & Gather also welcomes the neighborhood with an indoor-outdoor bar, a spacious covered patio with fireplace and great music, and a dedicated market serving grab-and-go meals, a wine bottle wall and locally-made merch and products. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff welcoming. The food and beverage is average and on the bland side for the price point. We were given warm glasses of white wine. The server offered to get us chilled ones and then charged us for them after she asked us if we still wanted the mostly unconsumed warm glasses thinking she was offering to replace them. I would go for an appetizer and drink at the bar but wouldn't spend the amount of money I did on a full meal there again unless major changes are made.

The food and service were outstanding! Great cocktails. Delicious pizza. The whipped goat cheese was AWESOME!! Definitely will be back!

Third time here and it’s a really cute setting with very good service. I have not been super happy with the food - although my daughter loved her salmon. Caesar salad was good. Croutons seemed boxed but there were some cheese croutons that seemed homemade. Guac, chips and salsa were good. Glass of rose was fine… a little warm and the pours are very conservative. Daughter’s short ribs were good. Meat was good but the purée it was on was not good at all. It may have actually been bad but we didn’t say anything at the time so that’s on us. Side of Mac and cheese was not good. It has been consistently dry and overcooked. Burger was good - Hidden House burger is still the best in DTC! Parm fries were also good, but a bit cold. Side of Brussel sprouts were good but had a lot of sauce. Like I said, my other daughter did love her salmon dinner but didn’t love the horseradish sauce. Our waitress was lovely and another server checked in as well. I have loved the coffee and pastries in the cute shop attached to the restaurant. Overall a very cute add to the neighborhood but was a bit expensive when leaving a lot of food behind.

So good! Definitely will be returning. Drinks were amazing and the food was so good! We had a hard time deciding what to get which is great! Means we need to return. It was our first date night since our kiddo was born and it felt very great for a date night! Would also be a fine place to bring a kid, too tight for a stroller. I got the recommendation to do a reservation and agree they are needed!

The food was delicious and we had a fun/friendly server. He was very knowledgeable as we hadn’t been here previously. It’s a very busy restaurant, so make reservations for sure. We had the Whipped Goat Cheese, Beet Salad and the Carne Pizza. Pizza was delish & spicy!!

Being charged $9 for a can of Tombstone Little Baby Wyatt left a bad taste in my mouth. I won’t be drinking at dinner in the future. I hope management will reconsider this outrageous pricing. $5 to carry out and $9 dining in?

They went above and beyond in making it right. I ordered the kale salad and it was not at all what I expected. Though I never do this, I returned it. Not only did they promptly get me another dish, but the manager came by the table to apologize and they took care of it. I never expected this sort of service and will absolutely return. It is a bit expensive, but isn't everything these days. I love the harvest bowl and the avocado toast and recommend both without hesitation. The coffee is amazing as well. If you have not gone, give it a try.

The staff was very friendly and went the extra mile to make sure my wife’s food was prepared properly since she has a gluten allergy (celiac). She loved the burger and especially the fries. The pizza was also tasty! Can’t wait to go back and try some of their lunch menu items!
