Welcome to Chandler’s all-new, all-day hangout featuring gourmet from-scratch fare served daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dedicated to using clean, organic ingredients, and always free from seed oils, our dishes are served up in a welcoming space that offers a dining experience that’s as nourishing as it is enjoyable. Housed inside a beautifully restored mid-century building on Washington Street, our name is both a nod to the Founding Father, as well as our welcoming neighborhood approach. Serving up a robust counter-order breakfast, and full-service lunch and dinners, George & Gather also welcomes the neighborhood with an indoor-outdoor bar, a spacious covered patio with fireplace and great music, and a dedicated market serving grab-and-go meals, a wine bottle wall and locally-made merch and products. Limited street parking, $12 to park in the small lot for 2 hours next to the restaurant. Had a reservation but still had to wait awhile bit for our table. The food was underwhelming - we had the sourdough toast and whipped goat cheese app which was the best tasting thing we ordered but was $19. We also ordered the bacon wrapped dates which we would not get again. We got the Hawaiian Luau pizza and Carne pizza. The Hawaiian was not good, very dry unseasoned pork that we picked off and the pizza had zero flavor. Had to ask for a side of ranch just to taste something. The Carne was ok but was just overpowered with spicy sauce. No flavor combo. We didn’t order dessert because we were worried that wouldn’t be good either. $130 with tax and tip for 2 beers, 2 pizzas and 2 apps. Our server was very nice but disappeared for awhile once our pizzas came. Had to wait a long time to ask for the check. Clashing interior design, as well, with strange light fixtures and dining chairs inside the restaurant. Had so much potential and was hopeful it would be a new favorite for us but it missed the mark. Felt like it was trying to be at a level it just wasn’t.

Always great service and terrific food. We tried the pizza for the first time which was very good and will be back again for dinner.

We went as a group of 8 for my birthday. Our server could have cared less to take care of us since with the size of our group she got auto gratuity. She also told me to pick out a dessert for my birthday and then charged us for it….and when asked she told us it isn’t included for birthdays. Our group was also only able to pay in an even split vs by couple. That should have also been communicated to us upfront because it made for an unfair split. The whole experience was weird and disappointing for my birthday. I should have done more research so sharing this so others can be aware. On a positive note, the food was delicious.

First time here. Food was very good as well as the service. The only one comment I would make is that the additional charge for chicken/salmon is a bit pricey.

Based on this visit alone, I wouldn’t be in any rush to return. Very lackluster experience. I felt badly because I invited a friend for the first time, after having had an altogether different dinner experience a couple months prior. But this, YIKES. My friend’s food was blah, at best. No garnish on a baby, $14, mimosa?? Visually unappealing. Just missing some absolute restaurant basics. Too bad bc the place appears to have real potential. I’ll maybe rethink trying again in another few months to see if anything has improved.

This was my second time here. I'm sad to say that this visit was not comparable to the first time. Although the food was delicious, the service was a little lacking. We were there at 9 am on a Sunday, so the place was pretty quiet. Our server although very nice, took quite a while to come over and take our order. My husband and I both ordered cappuccinos and the orange scone to start along with ordering our main dishes. The entrees came out very quickly; way ahead of our drinks and scone. It would have been nice to have a leisurely meal, but I felt rushed. Overall, I do like George & Gather quite alot and hope this was just a fluke experience.

We ate brunch at 9am, so the restaurant was quiet and we felt like we had the place to ourselves. The staff was all so kind and our waitress, Ashley, was wonderful! The breakfast burrito bowl was delicious and much larger than expected! Looking forward to coming back again soon and to bring our out of town guests here, too!

The Carne pizza was excellent and the honey apricot cheesecake was the best we’ve ever had! Price point was good also and we will be returning

Food and service were both exceptional! I had the kale salad with chicken and my friend enjoyed the beet salad. I understand they have an awesome sourdough crust pizza I’ll try next time.
