    We were seated 10 minutes late and the only reason we were seated at that time was because they had mistakenly taken us to the wrong table. We enjoyed the arancini and tomato sauce as an appetizer. Our cocktails arrived well after the appetizer had been finished. Don’t know what the problem was at the bar but saw others seated after us getting drinks faster. My drink was to have had a smoked rosemary stem, but the leaves were barely burned so the aroma wasn’t there to enhance the drink. Disappointing. The salmon dish was very good. Nothing amazing. It was a surprise to find an Italian restaurant in this day that doesn’t have a gluten free pasta - but has a gf pizza crust. So I had to order the gf pizza. The crust was ok, the pizza options were mediocre. It was also odd that the menu had a section “Pasta & Risotto” but no risotto dishes were listed. We shared their cheesecake for dessert and it was served frozen. I shared that with our server who said that it’s just really cold because they are made fresh every day. I reiterated that may be the case but it was frozen…we had to wait for it to thaw to eat it. It seemed lost on her so I let it go. We never received the to go box I requested and ultimately decide wasn’t worth the hassle. Learned they just opened which is why I let a number of things go. I got the sense everyone was really trying, but they need to continue to work out the kinks. Overall, I’m not saying I would never go back, but it’ll be hard for me to do it when there are so many other good restaurants in the area.

    Excellent tiramisu!! Restaurant has only been open about a week so still some growing pains but nice ambiance.

    Wow! I can’t say enough good things about Giardino. From the service to the food to the cocktails, everything was phenomenal. The flavors were perfection and complemented each other in such a good way. The ambiance in the restaurant was cheerful and bright—definitely will be such a compliment to this beautiful city. Downtown Aurora has needed a concept like this for a long time and Giardino did not miss the mark. The meatballs were so flavorful, the burrata and prosciutto—chefs kiss! We had three pizzas and two different pastas, all of which were so delicious. I am so so happy that this gem is right in downtown Aurora. I can’t wait to come back again!

    The food was delicious, priced very reasonable. The ambience and decor was very simple and elegant. Definitely recommend the Caesar salad. Will definitely come back!

    What an amazing place!! The big windows make the view from the street so inviting. The warmth of the ambiance was perfect for a girls’ night, date night and even family gathering. The staff was lovely and attentive, wine selections are great and the food was incredible. You MUST try this place!

    Attractive venue; excellent good; attentive and knowledgeable waitstaff. Would highly recommend.

    We were seated right away, but sat at our table for a least 5 minutes before anyone approached table and it was only to put down carafe of water on the table . The server then approached our table about 2 minutes after . The food was good, my salmon was slightly too crusty like it was in oven a few minutes too long . Overall it was good but to charge the prices they are charging you need to be spot on 100% and they were not .

    Beef Medallion dinner was a 10/10! We had 2 appetizers, Arancini which was the best we ever had - and Calamari Fritto which was also excellent with a hint of Italian spices. The other thing that I want to mention is that they offer high quality wines which were pleasing to our pallet. The atmosphere of Giardinos was beautiful, and the prices are reasonable. We will be going back!
