    First time dining here. The food was great and the decor is adorable, but the service left something to be desired. Although our waiter was nice, he was a little clueless and we had dirty plates just piling up on our table as the next course was arriving. Only forks on the table - had to ask for knives. Not enough table settings. It was a little strange. No hot tea or decaf coffee, which seemed odd to not have either. And unfortunately it’s a small place which gets incredibly cold because there is no outside double door. Every time the door opens, a massive draft comes in. Multiple tables at the front had to ask to be moved. We’d love to come back, but I think there are a few kinks to be worked out.

    We ordered the arancini appetizer. While delicious we received 3 portions not much bigger than golf balls for 12.00. They came to the table warm, not hot. We had pasta entrees and they were good. Portion size good but, not large- no take home. You don’t get bread at the table. Our server asked if we wanted a slice of bread with our entree and we all said yes. It was a very thin half slice of bread. It was buttered and grilled. Definitely not big enough to soak up the sauce from our pasta. We had tiramisu and vanilla gelato for dessert. The gelato was good a single scoop. The tiramisu was delicious but, was a 2x3 inch piece for 9.00. Our server was pleasant but, not overly attentive. We were sat near the front door and it was 20 degrees outside so, it was not pleasant when the door was opened. One thing that I hate- the server had a hand held device for taking payments. She swiped my card then handed me the device for tip and signature. The device had buttons for 18, 20 and 22% tip or a custom tip button. I don’t like a server standing over me watching. To me it’s uncomfortable. We had a nice lunch(off dinner menu) but, We thought it was a bit pricey especially for the portion sizes. Probably won’t order off dinner menu but, will probably go back and try the lunch specials which, sounded yummy.

    This was our third time at Giardino’s and everything was delicious! So happy to have another wonderful restaurant in downtown Aurora!

    We had a great experience here for NYE. Our server was exceptionally attentive and friendly, and allowed us to take our time dining. We ordered the burrata appetizer (great value and taste) and enjoyed the filet medallions and the Tuscany pasta. Food was delicious and ambiance was enjoyable. Overall it was a great experience!

    A friend and I met for dinner and had an outstanding experience. From fun cocktails to a delicious pasta dish to decadent desserts, the food was just out of this world. Our server was wonderful and attentive. He checked in with us after every course. Definitely planning to go back and would recommend to anyone looking for a place to eat, whether a catch up dinner with a friend, a date night, or a special occasion with friends and family.

    This new restaurant in Aurora is highly recommended. We’ve eaten here twice and the food, the service, and the ambience keeping us coming back.
