Step into Gino D'Acampo's latest city centre restaurant on Boar Lane. Showcasing a menu designed personally by Gino and his esteemed team of chefs, that encompasses classic Italian dishes with a real focus on quality and ingredient provenance.

The restaurant will be open from 12noon, every day for lunch and dinner until late. Not dining? Enjoy a drink in our elegant, yet cozy Bar Lounge.

    Fui con una amiga, para ser Italiano real le falta mucho, la comida no es mala... pedimos dos entrantes y dos fondos, uno de ellos estaba muy salado, casi incomible... nos ofrecieron un plato nuevo, pero mi companera no quizo, asi que los camareros muy amablemente le hicieron un descuento en la cuenta. El lugar es muy bonito, podrian mejorar un poco la comida y estaria perfecto.

    I have eaten at the Leeds restaurant more than once and always have a brilliant experience. The restaurant is large so you feel like you have your own space. The staff are always friendly and polite and cannot do enough for you to make your experience a great one. The food is excellent and affordable and the portion sizes are good,And I will definitely be going again.

    Disappointed with the food, which did not taste freshly prepared . Expensive for what it was. Unfortunately would not return

    we had an early nye booking 230pm seated fine took 15 mins to get a drink after alerting the staff. Food fine but waiter advised he didn’t know the food and why calzone was deflated. Pleasant enough then took a further 15 mins to attract attention to get the bill. Bit disappointed to be honest as was recommended by friends. Main waiter was working very hard lots of Suited staff floating around. Feels like the emphasis was on the big rush later on.

    The restaurant was fairly empty yet our service was noticeably slow. It took 15mins after we sat down for someone to take a drinks order. We weren’t ’checked on’ throughout the night, not asked if we wanted sauces ect with foods. On leaving we stood at the front desk for some time before having to go an interrupt the front of house lady stood at the bar, scrolling on Facebook on her mobile to request our coats from the cloakroom. We have always been fans of the Gino restaurants but this experience was overall very disappointing. So much so we took the service charge off our bill which didn’t open a discussion with staff, again poor.

    Table was late being ready which delayed our plans for the rest of the day. I was ignored at the bar whilst men who arrived after me were served first. We didn’t get the bottle of Prosecco that I had paid for, only reviving the complimentary glass. Starter and dessert was good, main course turkey was very dry….overall a bit of a disappointment for £100 per head. No Christmas crackers on the table and service was slow.

    Christmas dinner with family. Attentive staff who were busy but happy to help. Service was on cue. Food was very tasty. Highly recommend

    We went for the Christmas dinner. Food was just ok. Portion sizes small. Main issue was poor service. The “welcome drink” didn’t happen. We were sat at our table without even a hello or an explanation of what’s happening during our time other than “we need your table back in 90 minutes” (that really is all we were told). No offer of a drink. No additional menu. Not told about the food or when it’s coming etc. After around 15 minutes of nobody at all coming to our table, a manager noticed us and brought us a drink. This was indicative of the rest of our meal. Very inattentive. Hard to flag anyone down - because there was no waiter visible most of the time. The two times we got new drinks, the waiter didn’t remove the old glasses. So we had a table full of dirt glasses. When we finished our main course we were sat at our table for 20 minutes with empty plates sat there. Nobody came to take them or offer us a drink or anything. Once again the manager noticed and took our plates. After that point it was a further 20 minutes wait for our desert to arrive. And once again nobody communicated anything during that period of time. I’d say the service was very bad and it has left me feeling like I had a poor value experience. I’m not sure I would return. On a positive note, the two managerial staff were great.
