In 1959, Frank and Tina D'Ambrosio decided to start a new restaurant venture along with their "Paisans" Mario and Enza Volpe, after Frank had much success with his first restaurant, the original "Frankie, Johnnie, and Luigi Too! In Mountain View, CA. Named after a good friend of theirs, they opened the original "Giorgio's" in the Foxworthy Shopping Center in San Jose, CA. One year later, cousins Anthony and Louise Dambruoso, affectionately known to the family as "Sash and Lou", took control of the restaurant and ran it for the next eight years. Pictures and paintings of these folks still grace the walls of the establishment today. In 1968, Frank's four sons assumed control of the restaurant and still own and operate it to this day. In 1997 they opened a second location in Milpitas, CA, where they still offer the highest standard of quality food, service, and value to their customers. Bon Appetit!!

Managed to get a table by the window as not crowded during lunch time. We had crab cakes for starters which was slightly dry to taste. Our lasagne and shrimp fettuccine portofino was good. Waitress was friendly but spilled the fettuccine sauce on floor and my husband’s jacket which was messy and left stains despite a quick clean there. Ambiance was pleasant and not too noisy as not many diners today.

We had a lovely dinner with great food and a wonderful waiter. We especially enjoyed the patio seating.

We were a party of 7, and everyone loved their dish. We did go on Valentine's Day, so I'm sure the noise level was higher than usual. Our waitress was very nice but we did have to ask for water 3 times. We'll definitely go again on a "regular" day.

we arrived slightly earlier than our reservation but they had our table ready in a few minutes. The server was excellent and made sure to take our order in a timely manner. They also made sure we were good with refills. The food itself was also amazing. Overall such a a good experience, we will be returning here again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Giorgio's Italian Grill & Pizzeria in Morgan Hill, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and outstanding service that made us feel right at home. The food was nothing short of spectacular. The New York Style" Lasagna dish, the Fettuccine Portofino dish, and the Meat Ravioli dish we tried were bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The pasta was al dente, the sauces were rich and savory. The ingredients were fresh and of the highest quality, making each bite a delight. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, with a charming Italian decor that added to the overall experience. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend dishes and ensure we had everything we needed. Our Server Patty was very attentive and friendly. She was very customer service oriented. Overall, Giorgio's Italian Grill & Pizzeria is a gem in Morgan Hill. Whether you're looking for a casual dinner with friends or a special night out, this restaurant is sure to impress. I can't wait to return and try more of their delicious offerings!

Great staff, the bar tender was great and fun to talk to, the wait staff was nice and made the evening special for both me and my friends!
