   We had a wonderful birthday dinner at Glass Onion yesterday! The staff are very friendly and helpful, drinks are well-made, and the food is delicious! One of the specials, a lamb ragu, was particularly tasty. We’ll certainly go there again for special occasions!

   We found dining with Glass Onion to be disappointing. The hostess and server were not at all friendly. The grilled shrimp I'd ordered tasted very "fishy." My husband's order of salmon was o.k. We won't be returning.

   As a frequent diner at this restaurant, I was concerned when it changed owners. However, the level of quality and unique combinations featured in menu items has remained consistently high. In fact, several new items have been added to the menu, and the ones that I and my companions have ordered have been outstanding.

   We’ve been there many times over the years and we’re happy to see the menu was pretty much the same but with fabulous new dishes added. The food was delicious we’re definitely going back soon !

   Had a great experience at The Glass Onion last evening. Living in a small town nearby we like to occasionally go to restaurants like Glass Onion where it's crowded and noisy, with a lot of hustle and bustle. The staff handled it well and we had a very enjoyable meal. The food was delicious as usual. The only negative was that the shrimp pasta dish was a little scimpy on the shrimp. That's normally not the case. We chalked it up to them maybe running a little short due to the heavy crowd. Otherwise, a wonderful meal and evening.

    The "onion" was in our regular rotation but we grew tried of the menu last year. Having recently read about the new ownership and new menu we tried again. Unsatisfactory outcome. Many menu items seemed the same with little minor modifications. We struggled to find, for example, any beets in the beet salad. Trout was, as usual, excellent. The Fra Diablo was simply not a good dish -- sausage was excellent but the pasta itself was grossly over cooked. I should have pointed it to the server but service was spotty and hard to get her attention (and while busy it was not slammed). The server, for example, never asked my wife or our guest if they wanted a cocktail refresh for the whole meal; yet when I pulled my wallet out she was there in 10 seconds or less and returned the check like it was a race to get us out the door. I was hoping for better as a local resident.
