Excelente comida, precios altos. Servicio atento pero deberían cuidar los tiempos. Tener los platos de los dos tiempos encimados en la mesa no es agradable. Ojalá incluyeran vinos locales (no todo es California) y por favor, ¡no revuelvan el vino en la copa antes de que lo pruebe el comensal! Da desconfianza tanta agitadera de inicio.

I came here to celebrate my 26th birthday with friends and we had an amazing time. I had no complaints and the beef Wellington was cooked to perfection. This is my first experience at Hells Kitchen and I will be making my way back.

Need I say more when you mention the name "Gordon Ramsey"? But, there are a few things to consider when visiting. Yes the service is impeccable and the food outstanding but there's more to it than just those two things when visiting a restaurant and a higher scale one at that. We eat out a lot and at many levels of types of restaurants but make sure to check what you get charged for. For instance, no one wants sink water to drink and to "trick" you into getting bottled water to drink just isn't right. Charge me for a small bottle, fine but to be asked if you'd like bottled water then they come out with a giant glass bottle and charge you $9 for it is absurd and we only barely drank any (there's only 2 of us by the way). We didn't even have any alcohol either and we got socked for $11 each for a glass of lychee flavored soda on top of the $9 dollar bottle of water we didn't drink. Next none of the entrees come with barely anything else so when you ask for one from the menu, out comes a small thin-rimmed dish of potatoes that you could finish in a few bites for $15. Yes, I planned on paying a lil more of course for the name and the service and good food, but $74 for a small baseball-sized beef Wellington? Oh the dessert? $15 for a 2"x4" rectangle of cheesecake with a few blueberries. Really? What the kicker was the fact that they charged us an additional 20% service charge of the subtotal which came to $271.00. Add that service charge and your bill is now $352.30. Tax is in there as well ($27.10) but there was NO need for that service charge and you haven't even tipped yet. Are you kidding me? Total paid including tip was $432.30! Yes I can easily pay for this 30 times over and I still tipped my server $80 but that's so not the point. If you want the business especially in this day and age, DON'T take advantage like that!

Environment is good, food is also fine, but didn't reach my expectation as Hell's Kitchen. Very expensive considering a 20% service charge that isn't count towards tips. Even if you order 70 dollars each for 4 people, you'll need to expect a 500+ bill.

My 17-year old daughter and I could not have asked for a better dining experience from start to finish. The staff were very knowledgeable and efficient. A few simple, seemingly insignificant details stood out for me from a service standpoint (I’m also in the industry). 1) asked if we were celebrating anything special they could help us to celebrate and, 2) wanted to know if there were any allergies or dietary restrictions they should be aware of. I visited knowing which dishes were an absolute must-try for me. Of course they did not disappoint and there was never a doubt the end-result would be any different. Cocktails were amazing, extremely thoughtful and well-balanced. For starters, we shared delicious and buttery Lobster Risotto, moved into perfectly cooked medium-rare Petite Beef Wellingtons for our entrées, and finished our meal with Sticky Toffee Pudding, which, you guessed it, was fabulous. The only thing disappointing was our meal had to come to an end and knowing we didn’t have an infinite amount of time to bask in all of the deliciousness. Kudos to the D.C. team for a job well done. Thank you.

It’s nice to say that you went but the 20% service charge that’s not a tip was surprising because the expectation is that you’ll tip on top of that charge. The portions were pretty small and the drink portions were small as well. I wouldn’t come back and I wouldn’t recommend it. The service was good and the plating was nice.

We have been to a number of Hell’s Kitchens, mostly with excellent results but sometimes not so much. Our experience in the Washington DC restaurant was outstanding. All aspects of the experience were at the very high level we would expect. The service was excellent and we had warm and accommodating attention the whole night. One of the wait staff even went the extra mile and secured for my daughter the iconic Hell’s Kitchen pin! Kitchen was operating on all thrusters! We had filet, short ribs, and salmon, all of which were cooked to perfection. The sides of potatoes au gratin, macaroni and cheese, and braised brussel sprouts were also exceptionally tasty. Finally, the Caesar salad they brought out was enough for the whole table. The only ding I would say was that it was a bit noisier than we prefer and we did have the unfortunate luck to be seated next to a booth that did have two small children who were a bit rambunctious and noisy. But having had four children ourselves who are all now grown, we well understand and accept the travails of taking young children out to dinner. Overall, our experience was excellent and we will return again when next in DC.
