Michael is a wonderful server. His attention to our party was exemplary. The Trout was delicious. I wish Grand Street would serve more GF items, such as bread or rolls for sandwiches and appetizers. I had an Arnold Palmer with fresh squeezed lemonade. It is my favorite. Prices are slightly up, but not too high.

While about 30% of our menu is inherently gluten free, and about 50% can be prepared gluten free, it is true that we don't offer gluten free substitutes for bread. I recently had a truly disappointing experience at this establishment that I feel compelled to share—especially for anyone with food allergies. Despite my explicit warnings about my dietary restrictions, the management was completely unresponsive and unhelpful when it came to finding a safe meal option. While I was counting on a safe dining experience, I was instead met with indifference and a lack of genuine concern for my well-being. Chris, the bartender, did his best to advocate on my behalf. He took the time to try and check ingredients and suggest alternatives that would accommodate my allergies. However, his efforts were completely undermined by the management’s refusal to assist. Rather than working with me to find a meal that was safe to eat, they offered nothing more than a bland salad as an entrée—their way of essentially saying, “we don’t really want to serve you.” This dismissive attitude and the blatant disregard for customer safety are unacceptable. If you have any type of food allergies, I strongly advise you to avoid this place. It’s clear that management isn’t interested in taking the extra steps necessary to ensure that every guest, regardless of dietary needs, can enjoy their meal safely. Save yourself the hassle, the risk, and the disappointment—choose a restaurant where your health and well-being are taken seriously.

Our manager and chef did discuss at length what could be safely prepared based on the allergy card you provided, and due to the severity of the allergies, we erred on the side of caution to ensure your safety. While we regret that our options felt limited, our intention was to prevent any risk of cross-contamination. We’re grateful to Chris for his efforts in assisting you. Grand Street Cafe has a level of food quality that is top tier! I've been a customer for over a decade and I've never had a bad food experience! This was a belated Valentines Day dinner and it didn't disappoint! Everything from my appetizer, salad, and main course was excellent! As an added value the cost was very affordable especially for the quality of the meal! I will most definitely be back!

Enjoyed our dinner! I asked for ice cream with chocolate sauce and some whipped cream for dessert. Very disappointed over this. A scoop of ice cream with one drop of chocolate sauce and drop of whipped cream on the side . The other person ordered the same and we shouldn’t bothered. A very sad ending to a good meal!! Everything was fantastic from the food to the service. My girlfriends Ribeye was under cooked. They took it back and came back in a few minutes. My only thing and is one, should have asked MP on scallop's. Wasn't expecting 2 scallops to be $24. But overall a fantastic time.

Nice vibe. Romantic and quiet, service was top notch. Food however, Def not worth the money. 13 oz. Ribeye had 8oz of fat on it so def not worth 57.00! Other than the food quality, it is a nice cozy spot in the city for cocktails with that special someone. Drinks are spot on.

You should only have been charged $53 for the Valentine's Weekend Ribeye Special - that's the price we were running it for. We would be happy to refund the difference!
