The grapefruit basil martini was sweeter than I last remembered . The crabcake not as good .. Our entrees were great!

Very disappointed in this restaurant. We expected far more from a Tommy Bahamas branded resort. From the beginning, the meal was not up to expected standards. The water had a most peculiar taste. I asked for another glass but it was the same taste. Therefore, I had nothing to drink until the meal was half finished because we didn't get our drinks order until then. The drinks themselves were not noteworthy. One of the worst Mai Tai's I've ever had. Nothing like the one from the restaurant on El Paseo. The Colada was virtually undrinkable. Simply awful. The Halibut tacos were very good but the accompanying tortilla chips tasted like chlorine. The Eggs Benedict were cold and the ham was tough. The service was slow. We will not be returning.

Staff and service were lovely! Ambiance was nice. Food just didn’t match up. Skirt steak was very tough to chew through, got a nice jaw workout though.

WOW! New menu with a variety of delicious choices! Lobster chowder is back with a little twist, steak tacos with just a hint of heat, lobster and grilled shrimp salad…yummy! All served with pure joy and professionalism by Josie. Check it out!

Grapefruit Basil is outstanding with food quality, presentation and creativity. Service by Jacob was professional, attentive and knowledgeable. He shared that he was excited about the new menu items and encouraged us to come return. The ambiance is romantic, easy to have conversations and visit. For special occasions or brunch or happy hour Grapefruit Basil definitely is the best dining experience!
