In the heart of the East Devon countryside, surrounded by acres of farmland, you'll find the award-winning Greendale Farm Shop and it's family-friendly café & restaurant. The Greendale Farm Shop Café and Restaurant is much loved by visitors and locals alike. We offer a new extensive menu, created around many of the items sold in our shop and showcasing local produce from our farm and fishing boats. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are no problem and we have a children's menu for the little ones, too. We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as tea and coffee, delicious cakes and Devon cream teas.

Once you've eaten why not take a stroll along our family farm trail. The trails follow a level path that’s just right for pushchairs and little legs where you can say hello to all of the animals, including Oscar the Ostrich.

On Sunday and Monday evenings, from 3.30pm, our restaurant serves from our extensive fish and chip menu only.

    Overall enjoyed our meal and the waitress/waiter service was good - however the meet/greet lady on the day could not be described as ‘welcoming or helpful’ sadly.

    Had an amazing ploughman’s, burger was great and the chips are fish and chip shop chips. Greendale ale and lager were good and tasty. Told we were in for a 40 min wait on food but came within 20. Lovely fresh tasting food. Worth the visit.

    First time at greendale and disappointed unfortunately. Fish and chips ordered So much batter on the fish I barely had any and the chips were warm almost cold Won’t return to the restaurant

    Enjoyed many a meal at Greendale but sadly last night was very disappointing dined in fish & chips over cooked, service poor, waitress not engaging with us had to request the dessert menu also felt staff were waiting for us too leave hopefully just a one off

    Never had a bad meal here and it is always busy. Staff are always friendly.

    Great locally sourced food, cooked well and friendly staff in a warm setting on a cold Devon day! What more could you ask for?

    We arrived 5mins before our reservation,taken straight to our table perfect,but then awaited over 25 minutes before we asked to be served any drinks and food.the starter was okay.then we ordered our main dish 2 of us ordered greendale steak,the steak came out on its own plate and then still had to wait 3-5 for the chips to go with it.the other meals were just okay..the whole experience was not enjoyable would have reservations about coming back there..
