   I was traveling for work so I made a reservation at the bar. The staff were so attentive, had excellent recommendations, and even wrote down a list of other great restos in the city to check out while I’m here. The food was fantastic! My favorite was definitely the scallops although everything was absolutely delicious and really interesting and inspired! Was very glad I checked it out; they even did half portions for me bc I was dining solo. Truly epitome of hospitality! Highly recommend!

   A sublime dining experience worthy of the Gods. Poetry on plate after plate: oysters, scallop crudo, ravioli with hazelnuts and a perfectly prepared roast of duck breast. Tender with a crisp skin. Service was impeccable, just the right balance of timing, and charm, enhanced with a deep, respectful knowledge of ingredients and suggestions for the perfect complements of courses. A lovely evening worth crossing the country for - indeed an unforgettable meal. Thank you Chefs and thank you Lee. Hope to enjoy your artistry in the not too distant future.

   This past Grey Monday was another triumph of the exceptional team at Grey Gardens. These monthly events are a testament to the creativity of the folks in the kitchen, the brilliance of the wine pairings by the somm, and the diligence of the wonderful staff on the floor. The big highlights for me were the fried rice, the honey toast dessert, and the sake pairing. Grey Mondays are such a special place and I wish I could preserve those evenings in a bubble forever to enjoy over and over again. Do yourself a favour and make the last Monday of your month the highlight!

   I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a very long time. Unfortunately, it was not as good as I had hoped it would be. The fish and dip tasted like something I could have made from home. The fingerling potatoes were bland, and the spinach was salty. The egg white/tare sauce on top tasted like hollandaise. This was another dish that I feel could have been recreated at home with the same flavor profile. The ravioli was the star of the night. This dish was incredible! The flavor combination was unique and dynamic. The lemon zest added a little unpleasant bitterness, but overall would highly recommend this dish! The pickerel was OK. The sauce was good, but there was nothing about the dish that made me want to have it again. On a positive note, the ambience was very cozy and the service was nice.

    Always love coming to Grey Gardens every time I am in Toronto. The rotating menu keeps things fresh and tasty.
