Service extremely slow. Over 30 minutes to get a cocktail. Food arrived before drinks. Everyone working seemed to be in a state chaos. The food was not good. We got the fish and the pork chop. Way over priced. The tables were too close together and small. Will not be returning. Overall very disappointing experience.

The staff was super friendly and the food delicious, we had the Caesar salad, Burrata, potatoes, and ribeye. Caesar salad was the best I have ever had, the Burrata sauce was amazing similar to like a chimichurri, potatoes were super tasty and the ribeye melt in your mouth and delicious. They were super busy. I would highly recommend a reservation.

Lovely restaurant, amazing food and drinks. Service did not match the other amazing qualities of the restaurant. Maybe just an off night. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic cuisine. Portions are crafted for sharing. I recommend 2 entrees for 3 people to share. Generous portions! We’ll be back!

Griffins - Brea, CA 2/5 I was excited to try Griffins, especially knowing Chef Gabriela Gomez’s impressive background as a Michelin-star chef. My boyfriend chose this restaurant for an early birthday celebration, and I came with high expectations. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t quite meet them. The Positives: Griffins is located on Brea Blvd with easy parking, and the interior is spacious and inviting. The patatas bravas were flavorful, and we enjoyed the sumac seasoning—though the dish arrived lukewarm. The Disappointments: Our evening began on the wrong note when we were seated at a less desirable table, despite offering to wait. The roasted winter veggies dish came chilled (unexpected for a winter menu item) and lacked the comforting warmth we anticipated. The pork chop, served butterflied, felt rushed and underwhelming for a Michelin-star-level kitchen. Though the restaurant was busy, the quality of the dishes and overall experience left us feeling disappointed. Although we went to celebrate my birthday, we skipped dessert and ended the evening elsewhere. Final Thoughts: I admire Chef Gomez’s talent and vision, so I hope this was an off night. I’d consider returning with a friend to see if the experience improves. However, my boyfriend isn’t keen on coming back.

We were a party of 5 and went to celebrate New Year's Eve and our kid's anniversary. We were so excited to try but were extremely disappointed. We started with cocktails (Danger is My Middle Name, Oaxacan Beets, Cats Meow and Pink Pony Club). I have never seen my family not finish a drink, but the drinks were all so sweet we just kept diluting them with water. The server never inquired if we liked the drinks, or we would have said something and sent them back. Then we ordered appetizers. The burrata was fine, and the brussels sprouts and patatas bravas were very good. The shrimp tacos were good but nothing special. Lastly, we had the pork chop and Dino Ribs ($120 for two). The ribs were tender, but I expected them to be seasoned and wow. The pork chop was good but had a sweet taste and not the rich French onion soup taste the description led us to expect. We had said we were celebrating an anniversary and it was never acknowledged. They also forgot to take my $20 welcome off my check, which I didn't notice. If the drinks had been drinkable, or the service better, we would give it another try. I hope this was just an off night for them.

Everything we ordered was great! Brussels sprouts and potatoes were surprisingly amazing. The sausage and oxtail were to die for. Definitely coming back

Food was delicious! We ordered lots of different options from the menu to share as a group. Everything was beautifully presented and yummy! Service, atmosphere and drinks were all wonderful.
