Absolutely fantastic! We were in Boston for the weekend & decided to try Gyu-Kaku. Great location in South Bay shopping plaza & a 2 minute walk from our hotel. I made a reservation online for a party of 5 & we had no problems at all with wait times. The staff were warm, friendly & conscientious! What a cool, interactive dinner experience! Our party included 3 teenagers & 2 vegetarians & there was something for EVERYONE here, very affordable as well! It was our daughter’s 13th birthday & this place did not disappoint! The staff sang Happy Birthday & brought out a beautiful dessert for her. We HIGHLY recommend & will be back again! Thank you!

Food was not bad, but service was bad from the host to the server… I waited more than an hour for a table that’s been open for more than one hour, made no sense. If you choose the buffet style, either the servers are stretch too thin or on purpose they bring the items out slowly to you.

I had high hopes for a memorable birthday celebration with a friend as a group of 8, but unfortunately, our experience fell short. It took over 30 minutes just to get water, and when our meals finally arrived, they were incorrect. Even after we told the waitstaff, they continued to bring out the wrong order. The waitstaff also made a mistake on the bill, which led to an awkward moment when the manager chased us down for additional tip money. What should have been a relaxing and enjoyable evening turned out to be stressful and disappointing.
