Food was great, service was slower than usual. Although it was a Friday, it took 25 minutes for us to get a glass of water, and 45min for us to get 1 appetizer. Never changed out our grill, and really slow to get the next order out. Food was good! Just wish that the service could’ve been better.

We had a great time as expected. We are a regular at Gyu-Kaku and to have spent my wife’s birthday there with all of our kids together made it really special. Our server Koii was very attentive to details in our order and kept our table busy with the incoming of food plates. At the end of the day, the smile on my wife’s face made my day so thank you for everything.

We always love coming here! The food is great and pricing is decent, the only complaint is that they’re sometimes slow to bring food out, but everything is delicious!

The experience was okay overall, but our group felt that we got way less food for what we paid for. The whole ordering process was confusing. We’re group of 8 people and ordered the “ultimate” all you can eat option. We all felt that every time an order is placed, it should be assumed that it’s to be for everyone and not just for one person since the rule says that we all should order the same “all you can eat” option. We spent over $600 and we definitely did not feel we received the level of value and food commensurate with that price point. This is the first time we have had a negative experience at Gyu-Kaku. We have been going to the restaurant in Japan and the US for almost 20years. I’m sad to say we may not return.
