Harvest Wine Bar is the fourth restaurant endeavor for siblings Kleber, Nube, and Vicente Siguenza. Over the past ten years, their passion for food and wine combined with an abiding dedication for excellent customer service has become their recipe for success.

                      Frantic energy level - definitely not a well-paced, relaxing meal. Staff interrupted meal way too often! We have frequented the restaurant on an off over the past 8 years but found our last meal there less than desirable. The server was tone-deaf when interrupting our conversation. Waiting too long for our initial glasses of wine, we had just said “cheers” to our anniversary when he bounded up to the tightly placed table saying “have you decided on food?” Truly, the glass had not touched my lips before he interrupted! The host was running back and forth from his station at the door; staff yelled to each other over the already loud noise level, all the while trying to turn tables as quickly as possible. People on both sides of us changed tables and it seemed the server who lost the table was not pleased. I was sprayed by the busboy who was cleaning the table next to us. Another busboy tried to clear our meal while we were still eating; however, after ordering a glass of wine to compliment his main course, my husband was more than half-way through the veal chop before it arrived. Additionally, I had previously asked the sever not up refill my wine from the small carafe it was served in, as I would do it myself; he disregarded and dumped the wine in my glass. On top of the above, the fire alarm went off and the Greenwich Fire Dept came, kept the door open and had to give an all clear before leaving. Our entire meal with dessert (which took 10 minutes to arrive) was 70 minutes. I chose the wrong restaurant for a special night. If you’re looking for a quick meal in a loud restaurant, Harvest fits the bill. The food was good for the most part (veal chop cooked to more MW than MR, risotto cake cold in the middle, crème brûlée not set firm enough). For a relaxing meal on a special occasion, look elsewhere. Oh, and the first tip option was 30% :0

                      Amazing food! I didn’t take any pictures to post because I couldn’t stop eating. A very eclectic and varied menu is offered. The service was excellent. It’s very loud in the restaurant so I wouldn’t recommend for large tables but a great place for date night.

                      Not so wonderful. Artichoke app was greasy and in a cream type sauce. Service slow and place much too loud.

                      The food was terrific: salads, pasta, fish, dessert. All made with care and great flavors. Prices were moderate—equivalent to other similar restaurants. Service was attentive and we did not feel rushed.

                      I did NOT done at Harvest Wine Bar last Friday 11/1, as the restaurant was closed when I arrived!! I received no notice—either from the restaurant itself, or OpenTable—that it would be closed. Very disappointing!

                      The menu is long and it's hard to decide what to order. As it happened, the 3 women ordered the same thing: branzino with pureed parsnips and spinach. It was deeelicious. We all loved it. The 3 tastes together were fabulous. What wasn't fabulous was the salad which I split with my husband -- apple, cranberry, etc. Way overdressed. Next time order dressing on the side.....
