Welcome to Hawkeye & Huckleberry Lounge, where celebrated Chef Brian Malarkey and his brother James bring a slice of their Central Oregon ranching heritage to Bend. Our 'modern cowboy' restaurant & bar with its wood-fired oven, semi-private canvas tent dining, and a vibrant outdoor patio, perfectly embodies Oregon's majestic outdoors.

Our menu, deeply rooted in ranch-to-plate traditions, showcases beef & produce from our nearby Tumalo ranch. With an onsite butcher shop and smoker, we utilize every part of the animal, delivering high-quality steaks and inventive dishes at friendly prices. Favorites include our Happy Hour Smash Burger, Beef Fat Fries, Steelhead Trout, and Beef Tongue Tostadas all to be enjoyed alongside cocktails, mocktails local beers, and PNW wines.

Hawkeye & Huckleberry Lounge also serves as a dynamic venue for private events, from intimate dinners to grand celebrations. Join us for a dining experience that celebrates the culinary heritage of Central Oregon.

Our Huckleberry Lounge will be transformed into The Pink Pony Club, complete with an acoustic guitarist and fabulous decor. Absolutely loved the experience from the doors opening on… the hostess was warm, welcoming and funny, Jude was fantastic, and Cassidy was an absolute delight! She truly is the kind of waitress you hope for ~ knows the menu, confident, fun, attentive, and her smile all but ensures you’ll have the best time! Thank you! The vibe, ambiance, food, and each server we encountered top shelf, excellence.

The main dish was phenomenal, everything before and after did not meet the same expectations. Our server was either overworked or just having a bad day. The order of how our food was brought out and the period of time it took before we all received our main dish was not acceptable for the price charged. When you set price points at that level, there is an expectation to receive the same value in service. There are other restaurants that serve delicious steaks along with quality service from start to finish.

Exceptional service from booking our Company Party and communication, to the decor and service. The coordinator, Alexa, to set up our space was always very prompt with our communication and easy to work with. Our waiter went above and beyond for all the guests and remembered a couple of us that haven’t been in for months. Hawkeye & huckleberry, Brian and Carlos you have been a such a great well done exciting addition to Bend. Much love!- Kayleen Q

Second time being here and the first was much better. 47 dollars for a 5 dollar salmon filet with some butter on it. 65 dollars for a 10 dollar New York strip. For 65 dollars you should sides with your entree. You don’t. The value of the meal was terrible. We were also charged for a large party fee, 20 percent additional to the cost of the bill, despite having only 4 adults and 4 kids and 2 of those kids under 2 that didn’t order anything. 450 dollars later and we are sorely disappointed and will not be returning.

This is such a great spot! Super fun atmosphere, great music, and great energy. The food is also incredible. We got the pork belly, salmon, and steak fried steak and were absolutely blown away. This place is a must go!

The fixed menu portions for New Year’s Eve were very small and they were cold as well. Drinks were strong and good, service was good when we moved from a table to the bar but service was bad at the table so we moved to the bar. Price was too high for the portion sizes for sure but the ambience and music made up for it.
