   I am still reeling from the most fantastical dinner we've had in celebration of my husband's birthday tonight. I snagged reservations for the highly anticipated opening of Haywire and they exceeded all expectations in making our night such a fun and fantastic fanfare with celebrating us and taking such good care of us. From the moment we walked in, the hosts were easy in getting us checked in, sat down and we easily got taken care of by Summer, she was such a sweetheart in attending to us and our little one. Got his drink order in, food order in and just knew from the get go how to keep the hustle going without making us feel rushed once, she was such a good wealth of knowledge of the menu, the recommendations and explanation of dishes was also highly appreciated as she explained to us a lot of the dishes origins and backstory which made for such a rewarding meal as we were soaking in how tasty the food was and also, how breathtaking the interior decor of the restaurant experience was. You'll note the main floor is bustling and you can also peek at the open kitchen, we were welcomed to explore the hidden bookshelf room nook along with exploring the second floor to see the panoramic views of rock rose on this rainy day, and we so look forward to returning to dine in the fantastical Texas space that haywire has called home in Austin. Food highlight: Hubs ordered the low and slow chicken entree, and I went with the Texas Redfish, both were excellent in their delivery and presentation, along with portion size. The Texas four as our appetizer start was a huge portion, and our little one with his mac and cheese with fries for a kids menu option along with coloring was a very welcome addition to keep him entertained in this upscale dining where everyone was welcoming and so kind to our dinner affair. We also had a warm howdy from Hondo, part of the management team here at Haywire Austin! Loved our entire experience today and look forward to our next return!

   Just opened day prior and fantastic addition to Domain. Keith and rest of service staff on top of game. Generous portions; great flavors reasonable prices and fun vibe make this my new top spot in area

   Haywire was amazing! Tables were set with glassware and a candle, really pretty setting. Esther was our server and very attentive. The manager, Kyle was also very kind and friendly. Everyone seemed genuine and making sure that we were enjoying the experience. The venison chili was amazing, the fried green tomatoes were my favorite, pork chop was huge. We will definitely be back, but we’ll make reservations to sit upstairs in the trailer.

   We had THE most spectacular time last night at Haywire— this is how every restaurant experience should be— First off, Keith was such an amazing server— I truly felt like I was talking to a longtime friend with how welcoming and kind he was. He made so many great recommendations and we took him up on all of them. You MUST get the crab dip, the pork chops (BEST PORKCHOPS EVER— RIVALS OR EVEN BEATS PERRY’S)— and we had the bone in ribeye which was sooo delicious and cooked a perfect medium rare. The vibes were vibing, the drinks were soooo FETCH (I had two old fashions— you have to get the one that they do tableside, we were so impressed with the drama lol) and finish off with the bread pudding ala mode! 10/10, would recommend, loved every minute of my experience! Ask for Keith, ask him to give you a mini tour of their gorgeous private rooms while you wait for your room, and just get ready to be blown away!

   Haywire at The Domain is already off to a stellar start! We had an unforgettable experience on their opening day. Our party was ushered into a hidden private dining room, cleverly concealed behind a bookcase—a fun and unique touch that set the tone for the evening. The food was exceptional, with every dish bursting with flavor, and the service was equally top-notch. Keith, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure we had a flawless dining experience. We’ll definitely be returning soon to enjoy more of Haywire’s outstanding atmosphere, cuisine, and hospitality. Highly recommended!

   10/10. Opening night and it was phenomenal. Keith was an amazing waiter. He had fantastic recommendations and great manner. The food, drinks, and restaurant was fantastic. We absolutely cannot wait to return!
