We are situated in the village of Hurtmore, near Godalming and Guildford, with easy access just off the A3.

We would like to introduce The NEW Heaven’s Kitchen Steakhouse at The Squirrel Inn
We offer all the same steaks along with some pub classics. In addition, The Squirrel has more to offer, it boasts an outdoor children’s play area, large outside terrace, on-site parking, more range of beers and ales and not only that, it can accommodate larger groups. Come visit us and enjoy a quintessential country pub paired with the best steakhouse in Surrey.

We pride ourselves on locally sourced food and a wide ranging selection of real ales from across the country. In the summer our outside dining areas, all decorated with beautiful hanging flower baskets, really come into their own. It’s the perfect setting for a family gathering or a quiet drink with friends.

We also have letting rooms within our beautifully refurbished 16th Century Cottages

Our overall experience on Christmas day was absolutely appalling - upon arrival we were told by the manager that our table wasn't ready - my sister in law was on crutches & asked where we could sit to wait for our table - the manager sat us at another table & then said that was our table - we sat for an hour & ten minutes when I had to find the manager to ask where our starters were only to be told they would arrive shortly, another 10 minutes went by & then we did finally get our starters - then again we had to wait yet another hour & had to ask where was the main course - finally after another 10 minutes 2 of the 7 meals arrived these being the turkey meals & I have to say the turkey wasn't as described on the pre ordered menu - it was a very small piece of turkey wrapped in bacon (I would not of chose this of I knew it had been wrapped in bacon as I am not very kean on bacon) the rest of our group thought it was the bigs in blankets it was that small - the other 5 meals did not arrive until we caught the attention of a waiter & then they finally arrived about 10 minutes later - my sister in law did not have roast potatoes on her plate & when she asked where they were we were told 'O they don't come with that choice' (the pre order menu clearer stated all meals came with all the trimmings) - then yet another hour before the desserts arrived - we were clearing not the only unsatisfied customers - I think every table on the 2.30pm sitting complained or tried to complain to the manager on Christmas day but he seemed to hide away in the back & let his poor waiting on staff (to which I have to say they all tried their best & were coping as best they could on the day) but as for the manager he just didn't offer any explanation as to why things had gone so wrong & not really any kind of an apology - this was our first time at this restaurant & I have to say was an appalling experience & totally ruined our Christmas Day

The day was awful, we sat at table at 2.30 and wasn’t even offered a drink for 40mins. The service was non existent. The food was undercooked and not edible. We had to ask for our pudding to be rush out as by this point we had reached despair. It was 6pm so had been hours. It seems that the Christmas spirit was not there. The bill was £95 a head and had ruined my day to be honest. Lots of people complaining, no drink offered to non drinkers. Also, the owner stated when complained that he had been overwhelmed. What a poor answer and no consideration to what our Christmas Day had become.

As always fabulous food , great service and Tuesday steak night great value. Lovely location to meet friends for a birthday celebration

Food was incredible and I had a couple of cocktails which were amazing. Our serve Georgia (I believe her name was) was wonderful really happy and helpful. Was a perfect evening and experience.

Great staff but the food took 30 minutes to arrive. Over all the best Sunday roast I have ever had so worth the wait. Thoroughly recommended and will recommend it to other people. Regards Barny Jones

After our second visit within a month, I cannot recommend Heavens Kitchen enough!! Very warm greeting from the waiting staff who allowed us to pick our preferred seats, and once seated, it wasn't long before the very friendly manager came and offered a personal greeting, as well as recommendations of certain fresh items from the seasonal menu. The bar staff kept the refreshing cocktails coming, all with a distinct, personal touch that makes them all very moorish. (Especially with 2-4-1 on Fridays). It wasn't a long wait until our starters arrived, and that just teased the appetite for our amazing steak mains. There is no debate that they have earned the title 'Steakhouse'. Both Black Angus fillet steaks were cooked to perfection with plenty of trimmings that left us both too full for dessert. After eating, we stuck around for the live music they have every Friday and yet again, we were not disappointed!! And combine that with more cocktails, it was a wonderful way to spend an evening and worth every penny!! Anyone looking for somewhere to get great quality luxury food, accompanied with wonderful staff and a friendly atmosphere, look no further!!
