Now Open! Hen Quarter Prime brings elevated southern cuisine to the waterfront in Southwest D.C. The dinner menu features southern classics like Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Shrimp & Grits while showcasing an amazing steak selection staring our Tomahawk Ribeye from Creekstone Farms. The star of Saturday and Sunday brunch is the GRANDE BRUNCH BUFFET with a showstopping chilled seafood bar, carving stations, charcuterie stations, bottomless mimosas, bloody mary bars & more! The food and ambiance was amazing. I'll definitely be back. The peach and watermelon mimosas were on point. We'll definitely return.

My wife and I enjoyed our time here yesterday. She ordered the fish (sea bass I think), and I ordered the steak and fries. Both were delicious. Crystal at the front and Erica, our waitress, were phenomenal. My wife and I will be back very soon. Five stars.

Amazing Valentines Day experience. Service was absolutely phenomenal. Food was delicious, hot and fresh. Drinks were on point and flowing. Overall I rate last nights experience a 10/10. I will definitely be returning. Kudos to the staff for making everybody feel special last night.

Took my wife here for Valentines Day 2025. Food was amazing! She had the sea bass (her fav) and I had the seafood Pasta. Only got the pasta bc I got the steak appetizer...which was also amazing; tender and flavorful! The devil eggs were mid, nothing special. Spirit free watermelon mint was awesome too! Great night! Even the valet guys were chill yet professional! Great experience, will make my way for brunch!

The interior decor and ambiance is beautiful. All staff - wait staff, servers, etc. provide exemplary service. They even provide clean silverware for each course of your meal. The food was excellent - tasteful, reasonable serving size, and beautifully presented. Can't wait to return!

We had an incredible dining experience at Hen Quarter Prime. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for the evening. The lighting was just right—cozy but not too dim—while the soft background music added to the relaxing ambiance. The service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff who made excellent recommendations. The food was the real star of the night—every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, which was cooked to perfection and paired wonderfully with a glass of wine. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner spot, a place to catch up with friends, or just a great meal in a welcoming setting, Hen Quarter Prime is a must-visit. We will definitely be coming back.
