Don’t book with Open Table as they failed to confirm the reservation with Henry’s so when we arrived they had no record of the booking and the kitchen was closed. The staff member who greeted us was extremely apologetic and checked to see which restaurants nearby could accommodate us. This turned out to be an amazing Italian restaurant opposite. So sadly can’t review food ambiance etc in Henry’s but can recommend booking directly with the restaurant itself rather than a third party such as Open Table to avoid disappointment in the future.

Shown to our table by a very welcominmg member of staff. Drinks were served and the food didn't take that long to arrive either. All the plates on the table were left 'food-less' which means the food must have been good. Not too keen on the dessert menu - could be a better choice - so a coffe before leving to go to the theatre. This place is ideal if you are visiting The New Theatre in Cardiff - but make sure to book.

I book a table 2 days before we actually went and there was a variety on stuff on the menu but the day we went there was only 6 things for main menu. When I mentioned to the bloke he said it is restricted menu today. We ordered starter on the menu it was shedredded chicken with a sauce, the waitress said sorry it is Gouron chicken we said ok but only Gouron chicken came no sauce. Then we order fish and chips for main meal and there was only about 10 chips on the plate. Then price was way over the top. This was Henry's in cardiff

Billy joel concert on so must have known it would have been busy took over an hour to get food . Not enough staff If u knew chef was struggling why accept people that hadn't booked . Doubt I'll be coming back

Never been before waited over 1.5 hours for food which was cold and of poor standard when arrived. Certainly won’t be going back!! Not at all impressed!

It took over an hour to get the food out to us and when it did arrive, some meals were frozen and the steaks were overcooked so much you could not cut through them.

My confirmed booking was cancelled by the venue about an hour after the confirmation was received leaving me with very little time to arrange an alternative. Very poor service
