   At time of booking, I was asked for a possible occasion and I marked (my) birthday. There was no acknowledgement during our dinner, so felt a bit foolish. Any explanation?

   Quite unique experience for a small coastal village on Ostsee. A fusion between Asian/Japanese with regional ingredients. One of the best sushi as appetiser, fish was so tender and the sauces they provide in combination, so tasty. Make sure you reserve a table. Will be back!

   Modern Asia Japanese finally in Northern Germany, try the Polpi and Scallops. Proper restaurant where the staff don’t wear cardigans.

   We were seated in the overflow room, which seemed like a hotel room. This may have been for covid. We appreciated the privacy, but there was so ambiance. The food was just okay and very overpriced. There are only 3 types of sushi and they were sold out of the tuna. The margaritas were delicious. Our server Joseph was very nice.

    Service could have been better. Tables arriving after us got their drinks much earlier. Even though we had made the reservation a week in advance, we were greeted with „we don’t have tables outside“, so we missed the sunset. A couple which arrived 20 minutes later could choose if in- or outside. I ordered a Tom Kha Gai but got a Tom Kha Gung. Starter dishes and empty glasses were not cleared for 20 minutes, till I placed everything on an empty table next to us. Location is stunning, great interiors. Food was good but nothing outstanding, for my taste everything contained a little bit too much fish sauce.
