The Highlight Room Grill will be undergoing renovations from 11/4-11/25, therefore reservations will be held indoors, in our enclosed Lounge space on the rooftop. | (Please note: If there is inclement weather, there is a possibility that we may close the restaurant at any point and will offer seating inside the lobby of Dream Hotel on days that are particularly rainy, windy, or cold). |

The luxe 11,000-square-foot outdoor rooftop, lounge, pool and grill is set high above Hollywood with unparalleled aerial views of the famed Hollywood sign and the Los Angeles skyline. The Highlight Room’s chic, modern sundeck is the ideal destination to relax by the pool on plush loungers or in luxurious private cabanas, while enjoying a light menu and handcrafted refreshments. The restaurant serves guests signature drinks and freshly prepared Californian fare from breakfast until mid-day.

    Arrruinaron mi despedida de soltera, el servicio súper prepotente. La reserva era a las 10:15pm para 10 personas y a las 11pm ya nos estaban pidieron pagar por que tenían otro evento. Eso no se especificó en la reservación fue una cuenta de $500.00 USD para ni dejar terminar los platillos con calma. Pésima experiencia

    Lunch Break menu was awesome. The chicken wing lollipops are next level amazing. I could eat them all day long. I want that recipe!

    The view here is incredible. It’s a hotel bar restaurant. For lunch the menu is limited and served nicely. It’s really all about the view though. Nothing special about the food. Unfortunately it’s more of a night spot so in the light of day, the place looks tired and seedy. It really is a night club. I’m certain when it’s a club it’s quite a hot spot.

    Poor logistics. I made a 10:30 reservation for brunch, I checked OpenTable and their website and both indicated brunch was all day Saturday and Sunday. When we got off the we waited longer than needed in the lobby without being greeted, finally wondering into the main dining area and found someone. After being seated we received brunch menus for about 5 minutes when a waitress came over with no greeting or into and took our menus, exchanged them and said brunch doesn’t start until 11AM and left… We then sat there for 15 minutes before being greeted again. At that point we were annoyed because the chicken and waffles item we wanted was not the breakfast menu nor did there appear to be anything brunch cocktails on the breakfast menu. We got up and left and went to Breakfast Club down the street and had a much better experience. Also, wasn’t as fancy looking in person as the photos. I wasn’t impressed.

    I took my daughter there for her birthday because I wanted her to experience the panoramic views, good food, friendly service and retractable roof. The restaurant area where I had dined previously (past the rooftop pool) was closed and the room where we ate was not as impressive. Our server was not very attentive. The cocktails were delicious as was the food but portions were extremely small for the cost.

    Delightful rooftop bar with great views. Unfortunately the food is not at the same level. Best thing we at was the mushroom flatbread. Service was excellent.
