Holm is inspired by nature and our surroundings in the beautiful South West of England. We are driven by provenance, sustainability and warm hospitality. Our aim is to serve delicious food and drinks in a casual yet refined environment.

The food at Holm will be driven by the seasons, the environment and our locality in the beautiful Somerset countryside. We work with local farmers, growers, butchers, gamekeepers, fishermen and anyone who shares our love of exceptional ingredients, treated with care and respect.

Our wine list is focused, well-chosen and sensibly priced with low intervention, organic and biodynamic wines from small artisanal producers.

    We can be found in the village of South Petherton, 5 minutes from the Hayes End roundabout on the A303, approximately 3 hours drive from London. We are 15 minutes by taxi from Crewkerne Station, 20 minutes from Yeovil Junction Station, 30 minutes from Castle Cary Station.If you are planning on booking a taxi to and from Holm for your visit, please let the person who takes the booking or confirms your booking know, we can then manage your booking times for you and communicate with the taxi firm about timings for you, if you wish.

    Join us at HOLM Somerset for our stunning Chef's Tasting Menu. With a focus on Somerset's finest quality products from local growers and farmers, our team will guide you through a seven course menu. We can accommodate for most dietary requirements as well as enhance your meal with a supplemental signature cheese plate and/or drinks pairings. Our drinks are exclusively small-estate British and European spirits and wines grown vintages, carefully selected to complement your evening. We look forward to welcoming you for what we promise to be a culinary experience to remember! Please inform us of any dietary requirements at the time of booking. Due to the nature of our menu we may not be able to accommodate last minute amendments.

    Very good indeed. We went for Sunday lunch. The food was faultless and it’s a beautiful restaurant. The service could have been a bit more attentive, and the wine list is quite limited, given the quality of the food but would definitely return.

    A charming eatery Situated in a quaint village filled with honey coloured thatched cottage . No problem with parking We were greeted with a smile and directed to our table. I loved the idea that the kitchen is there for all to see as you enter the building. Service was very prompt, and the waiting staff were polite and very knowledgable regarding the menu. I was initially not that impressed by the set menu Ido not mean the content but Would have liked to see a full menu. However when the food was served it was a triumph. Piping hot and very well constructed and cooked. The whole lunch was delicious . Would thoroughly recommend the restaurant and we will certainly be visiting again . Well done quite excellent.

    Beautifully cooked local good quality food and ingredients. Exceptional service with knowledgeable friendly staff. Not pretentious at all. Made to feel very welcome from the start. A rustic feel with the decor....but not here for the walls...it's all about the food 😉. House white and red wines....sublime. would thoroughly recommend. Great coffee too! Oh, and the cheesy chip appetisers.....to die for. Fabulous first time visit....we will be back, thank you for a Sunday dinner with a difference

    As always Holm is superb, the staff are fantastic, the ambience is laid back and the food is out of this world. Whilst the Chefs tasting menu is seventy five pounds, it is still great value for money and worth every penny. Each course was perfectly judged and came together to make a sublime meal. My wife and I consider ourselves very fortunate to have Holm on our doorstep.

    The quality of the cooking is second to none and everyone works hard to ensure your meal is the best possible experience. We consider ourselves fortunate to have such an amazing restaurant on our doorstep but would still travel far to dine there.

    Excellent, friendly restaurant. Food and wine delicious. Modern take on traditional staples. Particular favourite the Montgomety Cheddar fries!
