Established in 1982, Homemades by Suzanne offers more than 35 years of delicious recipes! We offer lunch in the historic John Marshall Ballrooms located at 101 North Fifth Street between E. Grace and E. Franklin Streets. Lunch is served in The Marshall Room, Monday-Friday from 11:30a-2:00p. Come by and try our famous chicken salad, a slice of quiche, or one of our delicious weekly specials. We invite large parties for lunch!

Homemades by Suzanne is always an excellent choice during lunchtime. The food is always good, the service is superb and they do not keep you waiting.

The setting was terrific, as I knew it would be. The food, also, was very fine. The Service by Anthony was gracious and not intrusive. I have had lunches there before and keep coming back. John Beall

48 hours before my reservation, I received a call from the restaurant letting me know that my reservation should not have been accepted as they would be closed for a wedding. The website had advertised that a holiday buffet would be offered each Thursday of December and listed the dates. I made my reservation in early December. This was a huge disappointment as this was to be a family Christmas celebration with several coming from out of town. We had enjoyed the buffet at Suzanne's last Christmas and were looking forward to an equally festive experience this year. It was difficult with such short notice to find a venue for a large group. I am not certain I would recommend the venue to a friend, as much as we have loved the food and the venue in the past. I wish there was a maybe as an option below.

Pretty odd setting. Big room with no customers. Food quality ok. Service was nice! Would not return.

For a white cloth, table seated lunch with good food, this is the place to go. The daily specials are always excellent and the quiche of the day is interesting and good. The table service takes place in a large ballroom and appears a bit out of place but the experience is always nice

Nice place and quiet enough to be able to have a pleasant conversation. Does not feel like dine in is their main business but they did work hard to make it nice and friendly.

I absolutely loved my family‘s holiday lunch at the John Marshall with Homemades by Suzanne. The food was delicious, the decorations were gorgeous, the staff was very accommodating and extremely friendly. The only thing that kept this from being a perfect rating was the fact that when the Buffet was replenished, it was replenished with different foods. My husband wanted more beef short ribs, and they were replaced by barbecue. He was disappointed, but I do understand that in the food and restaurant industry right now it is hard to determine just how much to prepare.
