   Had heard great things about Hook and Anchor and it didn’t disappoint. The fish and chips were the best… but I’m definitely going back for the Lobster Roll.

   Food overall was underwhelming, the 6oz lobster roll was amazing and is clearly the most popular, however the fries were under seasoned and bland. But, the lobster carbonara was poorly seasoned and lacked any flavor. Ambience was fine but when a lobster roll is $50 you would expect a better vibe.

   This place lives up to the hype!Saw this place on Instagram and tried it for our 35th wedding anniversary. I had the best "Alfredo" sauce (Shrimp Alfredo) i have ever had. Fantastic flavor and was not some overdone cream smear so many other placespass off. The clam chowder was not only stellar in taste (nice portion too), but gluten free (this helped my wife enjoy). Next time I am getting the lobster roll as it looked nothing short of perfection

   The spicy margaritas are amazing, along with the crab cakes, and the lobster roll is to die for!

   Birthday Celebration, looking to spoil myself with their famous lobster roll. Opted for the 6oz vs the 4oz since there was only a small difference in price. So, first impressions were very good; greeted warmly at the door by the host who acknowledged the birthday. The interior space is very comfortable and stylish with a nice vibe. Not sure why the Happy Hour items aren't available in the "restaurant", only in the "bar" since the bar is pretty much the same space as the restaurant. No big deal because the HH menu is pretty limited and the deals aren't that great. That said, I will come back another time for the Burger happy hour special because it's a pretty good deal. So, I knew going in that the lobster roll would set me back a piece but, based on reviews I had seen I was expecting something pretty special for $48. Sadly, expectations were not met. The lobster was good but maybe a little overcooked and a bit chewy. Not sure that my 6oz was the same 6oz that you'll see in the photos on some reviews, but it is what it is. The wait staff did an okay job but nothing that made the evening special; no mention of the birthday. So, while the lobster roll was good, it wasn't anything special. Add tax and tip to a $48 item and you're up around $60. Definitely not worth that. Seems like they need to remember that a night out celebrating a birthday deserves a little more effort from the staff to make it special and worth the money.

   Would definitely come back in the future for dinner. Parking was slightly a challenge but overall experience was nice.
