It is "good" but far from "very good". If you are going to charge $15-$20 for a medium-sized burger or chicken sandwich with fries....the fries need to be fresh and warm. Neither was the case. One diner had the pasta with mushrooms. That tasted very good. Honestly, would not go back but it was "ok". 4 people, 4 drinks, 3 appetizers, 4 entrees, no desserts. $220 with tip. So, "ok".

This was my first time here - and in California- and this was my first stop. Tasha the bartender was phenomenal. So friendly and kind and bubbly and provided great menu recommendations while also giving us some insight about the surrounding area. The food was just as good. The duck fat fries were delicious and so was the burger. Don’t miss the great cocktails too! Thank you Tasha and staff at Horsefeather for such an amazing experience. We will be back before we leave California!

We were blown away by how good the food was! Started off with caulflower and duck fat fries! The caulflower was crunchy and flavorful. The duck fat fries had a curry powder dusting and were super crispy, it went well with the curried ketchup! I got the chuck roast with mashed potatoes and it was so tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were creamy and so delicious! Definitely a great spot to check out to catch up with friends or a date night!

I’ve always enjoyed coming to Horsefeather — the food is consistently solid. This time, I ordered the wings with duck fat fries, and as expected, they delivered on flavor. No complaints on the kitchen’s end. However, the service this visit left a lot to be desired. We were forgotten about for an extended period of time, and when we politely mentioned it, the bald waiter responded with unnecessary rudeness, saying — and I quote — “Is someone feeling a little sensitive?” in a condescending tone. It felt completely uncalled for. Even more concerning, I overheard him respond to another table with, “Are you asking me or telling me?” when they simply made a request. That’s not how you speak to guests, and it’s disappointing to see behavior like that in a place I’ve really enjoyed coming to. I love Horsefeather, but this type of service makes me question returning. I hope management takes this seriously — one employee shouldn’t be allowed to ruin the experience for multiple tables.

Dory was friendly and very attentive. The lowrider cocktail was FIRE! As someone who works in the hospitality industry, it’s hard to find solid staff members who are knowledgeable on the menu. Will definitely be back.

Great service. The initial green room is uncomfortably loud compared to the actual interior. 50% of what we ordered was alright, 50% fairly bad. Felt we ordered wide enough to be fairly representative of the menu.

I love this place! Last week, we went to celebrate an engagement and graduation with families that flew into town from out of state! However, it was so incredibly loud we could barely hear each other speak, even when sitting just one person away. The music was blaring (when it was already extremely loud at baseline) and it was very cramped for our table of 8. We had three tall men who were crammed into the corner of a table with no space to move their legs. I love the food, cocktails, and decor but I would definitely never bring a group here again. I would recommend ONLY coming here with a group of 1-3 people, but it was way too crowded for more than that. I was really looking forward to showing my loved ones this place but it was so loud, uncomfortable and chaotic. Wish we would’ve had a better experience.

Service was slow in most aspects. Took about 20 minutes to get our check after asking for it twice. As well as my date asked for sparing water which they charged us but never received until halfway through after reminding. The chick was mostly batter. The service was nice and attentive when they actually were around. Wings were great and Mac and cheese was delicious. Very loud which i love and ambiance is nice but nothing special that sticks out. Great place to grab a drink.

The menu is straight forward American food with elevated twist. The fried chicken is moist and side corn has a hint of heat at the end which is very nice. The cocktails are sweeter than my preferable taste.
