We are now accepting reservations! Experience the ultimate dining destination in Palm Desert, conveniently located near the chic El Paseo shopping district. At Larkspur Grill, we bring a modern twist to classic California cuisine, crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Join us on our patio to savor delicious dishes and refreshing cocktails while soaking in the stunning views of the San Jacinto Mountains.

For groups of 6 or more, please contact the restaurant directly, and we’ll be happy to assist with your reservation.

Live entertainment Tuesday - Saturday 6pm-9pm
***To maintain the integrity of our live entertainment program an entertainment fee of $6.00 per person will be added to all checks during performance nights.***

The entire party must be present to be seated. We kindly request that guests limit the number of checks per table to no more than two.

Deck the halls with an indulgent 3-course pre-fix menu bursting with holiday favorites and all the trimmings! $85/adult, $42/child. Available from 11:00am - 5:00pm, with the last reservation at 4:30pm. Our regular brunch will be available from 8:00am - 3:00pm. We will be closed for regular dinner.

Bid farewell to 2024 with a decadent 3-course pre-fix menu, party favors, and a special performance featuring Will Donato and the Art of Sax. $195/person. Available from 8:00pm - 11:00pm, with the last reservation at 10:00pm. We will be open for regular brunch from 8:00am - 3:00pm and happy hour from 3:00pm - 5:00pm. Our regular dinner will be available from 5:00pm - 7:00pm, with the last reservation at 6:30pm.

Have been to the Larkspur many times but not for thanksgiving. Generally the food and service is great. There were only 4 tables including us so not busy . It was a price fixe menu. The waitress took 20 minutes to deliver our drinks. She then told us one of the menu items was not available. Said it was “86”?? No idea what she meant. Is that a reference to Maxwell Smart?! Anyway, food was ok but not up to the usual Marriott standards.

Went for the Thanksgiving Pre-fix and it was delish! Great menu, big portions and amazing service. Specialty cocktails were fresh and tasty. I love the open feel and decor. Will go back soon for lunch or dinner.

I can’t recall how many friends I have referred to Larkspur for their French onion soup with short rib, which is/was my favorite thing in the valley. You can’t imagine how sad we were to plan a get together recently, just to hear it was no longer on the menu. The rest of the menu is somewhat small, but we still managed to have a good dinner. The servers are fabulous, the ambiance is beautiful and fun and the music was awesome. Please bring back the soup.. it was delicious and different.

The food and service were good. But we went specifically to see the Art of Sax band. The website showed they were going to be there, but were told when we got there that they had “another gig”. Very disappointing.

The dining area was nicely decorated. The service was good. The crispy calamari was good, but there was also a lot of fried hot peppers mixed with it and the sauce drizzled was spicy so we had to pick around those. The short rib stroganoff was very good. The beer marinated chicken was ok, but not as moist and tender as we thought it would be. It was very bland unless you ate the skin that had all the seasonings. We don’t typically eat the skin of chicken so the dish ended up being just OK. Was nicely prepared, however. Also, we were hoping to have the chocolate mousse for dessert, although it was on the menu, it wasn’t available. The entertainment was good … a singer/guitarist who had a good voice and played familiar songs, We felt a little bad for him because there were only three tables of diners and a few people at the bar and we were the only ones paying much attention to him. The other tables were caught up in their conversations. It must have been difficult for him to play to an inattentive crowd.

Not happy to have to pay a service charge for music while we were eating dinner. Will not rush back. I’m sure you can sit at the bar and NOT pay that charge!

I was texted the day of my reservation that there is now an added $6/person entertainment charge. I had friends lined up to go so I didn’t cancel. Not sure I will return this season. The staff is not overly friendly…nor, the food anything to write home about. This isn’t the first time I felt “marginal” about spending my money here.

Food and service are extraordinary. Beth the bartender is high energy and lots of fun. She really cares about her guests and goes out of her way to ensure they have have a perfect experience. Entertainment extremely talented. Note to other diners. Tip the musicians. $$$ They work really hard to provide a great musical performance.

Food was just ok. Pricey for what you got and the wine list was very limited for anything less than $100. The live music and the decor were great.
