    Booked for New Year’s Eve dinner for 7 people. The food was excellent, however the service was really poor. We sat down around 7:10 (booking for 7:15), and our food order wasn’t taken until 8:30. All food came out in good time, one pizza didn’t come out until everyone had theirs for 15 minutes already as there was a mistake in the kitchen. I understand how busy restaurants and cafés can be around new years, but we felt as though the woman that we think was the gm was quite rude and dismissive. This has nothing to do with the miscommunication regarding being a dog friendly restaurant, the overall experience was disappointing as I have been to this pub in previous years and the service has been great.

    We shared: arachini balls ❤️ , koren chicken ❤️ muscles ❤️ Mains were fish n chips ❤️ rocket salad ❤️ chicken snichz ❤️ Thai beef salad 👎 chicken parmy ❤️ The service was great, the place was noisy but it was also Xmas holiday so it's expected. We will return in the future.

    Always delicious. Shared tempura cauliflower bites which are moreish, but with sweet chilli sauce instead of agave syrup, which wasn't quite as good. Bring back the agave please! Also the Korean Chicken with Goku Jang dipping sauce was amazing. Double chocolate tart and lemon tart for dessert were also delicious, and servings just enough. We will be back!

    Not a great experience . Saddens me as I am frequent to the Island with my family . New owner very aggressive . We wrote a review regarding our experience and her reply was very uneducated and very unprofessional . For someone that is running an amazing pub in an amazing location should educate herself on how to deal with the public or maybe think of another profession that suits her very unhappy grumpy disposition.

    As per my response or your friends review - your table was upset that i didn't give you a 'free' drink after being rude & homophobic towards my staff memeber which made him so uncomfortable that he didn't want to serve you. The way you carried on after was like being in high school and actually quite embarrassing for your age. Maybe you should 'educate' yourselves on how to act in public.

    The view of the ocean was lovely, we ended up sitting outside due to noisy group inside. The food was delicious and our meals arrived in a timely manner. The Thai Beef Salad was very good. Service and politeness of staff excellent. I recommend a visit.

    Seated quickly and water brought to the table while we chose drinks. I ordered a luscious Pomegranate Sour cocktail and my companion had a glass of Prosecco. We ordered 3 share plates: chips with aioli, pork belly with apple sauce, and tempura cauliflower bites. All were delicious, but the cauliflower bites, which came with a sweet chilli agave syrup sauce, were the standout. Definitely a dish to come back for!

    Consistently amazing food and service from Hotel. We were a large group and everyone was raving about their meals! Food is delicious! The service was wonderful, very welcoming and attentive when needed but also didn't inturrupt us when we were eating and chatting. Thanks Hotel team for a lovely night. Everyone will definitely be back!
