Our signature, all-day restaurant (named for the patron saint of cooks) is an ode to seasonal Italian cooking with regional New Orleans influences. The timeless design is grand, with lush modern touches and ample outdoor seating on the porch and courtyard.

The staff was fun and festive. They were willing to accommodate to special requests. They also thought of the small details to make a great experience.

The Host staff was excellent. They were patient and accommodating eve though my friends were an hour late for the reservation. My waiter was a little too familiar, too chummy, so when things were a little off he didn't handle the situation appropriately. The food was "fine" but it wasn't great. It wasn't impressive, and when I go out to dinner in New Orleans I want the food to be IMPRESSIVE. My two guests were in from Chicago and they both said that they had had better food.

Such a lovely room and fabulous food. The renovation of the building made for an excellent dining spot. Salad and pasta were excellent. Our server was top notch.

Absolutely delicious! The oysters were amazing, and the Pomodoro pasta is the best I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend coming here!

I'm Italian so it's not easy for an Italian restaurant to impress me, but san Lorenzo is the real deal. The tuna carpaccio was off the charts, and the pomodoro was excellent. The saffron orrechiette was also amazing. We ordered the cannoli for dessert to make sure the place was legit Italiano, and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The dark sexy ambiance was perfect and quiet and intimate. The food was absolutely perfect and Jamie’s knowledge of the wine selection was absolutely impeccable!!! I can’t wait to go back.

Food was outstanding. My boyfriend who is a self-described "steak snob" said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had. Service was good. Ambiance was very nice. Value was good. Steak was large, risotto with prawns wasn't super filling in my opinion and the prawns were very mushy. Noise level was good. My only complaint was that the ceiling fans were on in February and it was freezing.

As a native this is hands down our fav local restaurant Lauren, Jamie and team are top notch in service. Chef has brought another level of cuisine too.
