   Nice food and good service. I had a beautiful steak and a lovely glass of wine. Would probably go back at a busier time for better atmosphere (not 20:30 on Sunday night). Overall very nice.

   While ordering, we were told some menu items were not available. A half hour after ordering, we were told one of our ordered entrees was also not available. We had to wait over an hour for our entrees. When the food arrived, it was very good. The management recognized the inconvenience and did not charge us for our first round of drinks.

   Charming staff and good food in a really warm beautiful space within the French Protestant Cathedral. I had the Coq au vin. Beautifully done not swamped in sauce and lovely vegetables. I then had a really delicious apple crumble and ice cream. Really crispy crumble. Husband had Schweinekotelett which he loves and can’t always find. Followed by cassis sorbet in Sekt which he enjoyed. Wine and beer followed by a generous mint tea.

   Good ambience and decent selection of fish, meat and veggie dishes on the menu. We started off with a glass of sparking wine each and went straight to the mains ordering the vegetable ragout and the pumpkin strudel. My strudel was freezing cold in the middle and when I told the waitress I was surprised to hear that rather than replacing it with a fresh warm one they were just going to heat it up. Heating it up took so long that my friend had finished her ragout and I was still waiting for the replacement, eventually my reheated plate came back. When the waitress was clearing our plates she asked if everything was fine and I said no, commenting on the length of time the replacement dish took and the fact I'd had to chase it up. She came back with another glass of my wine to make up for it but no apology from anyone for any of it. Won't be back.

   Food was great and service but we were stunned that there were ony 3 tables in use which affected the ambience

   The chanterelles were terrific, warm over a salad, and in also a generous portion in another dish. The stuffed portobello with chèvre and polenta was intensely flavored. Service was very helpful and cheerful. The room itself is stunning, and casual seating lends a relaxed atmosphere.

   The food is quite ordinary. Got a steak that had been sous vide before grill = Tasteless. Got a Cod fillet that had bones = No go Service was not okay. Slow down and let people enjoy and relax! Ordered and got a before dinner drink. However the wine and starters were served less than 3 minutes later. The plates were attempt to be removed before finish. Had to learn the waitress how we'll place our knives and fork for her to see when to remove. And when asking for the bill. Please let us have one and not only the amount at the card machine. And then I just hate the card machines asking if you want to add tips in predetermined percentage! :-( No tips added just to let you know :-)

    My wife and I went for 2 specific items on the menu, both sold out. Mushroom soup was a broth which is unusual and not that exciting. OK experience but would not return
