Hy's Calgary es la última adición a la familia de restaurantes de alta cocina Canada's Premier Steakhouses desde 1955. Con líneas limpias y texturas de cuero, terciopelo, cálida madera y piedra, este restaurante es una versión moderna de la tradición clásica en filetes. El orgullo del lugar es la asador rodeado por una pared circular de cristal, del cual se obtienen filetes Canadian Prime Great (canadienses de primera calidad) perfectamente asados al carbón.     I’ve been a fan of Hy’s for decades in Calgary. This experience was ok, but no where close to a reasonable value anymore unfortunately. $7.50 to add gravy to your steak sandwich and fries for lunch is a bit much (or a lot much really). Pricing has gone off the rails recently here even for the 0.1%-tiles. Service and ambiance is good. Food is good but not exceptional.

    The service was good unfortunately we didn’t like our meal which was the fish, but management addressed the issue. We were seated at the front of the restaurant by the windows and in front of the heater, it was very hot and uncomfortable, I didn’t mention that so it’s on me. I did note ahead of time it was for a Birthday and assumed we would be seated someone nicer. However, I did request for the blind to be put down, which took a while to happen. I felt the appetizers which were very small were overpriced.

    Outstanding celebratory meal for five at Hy’s again. We are never disappointed. Everything is first class, including the service. We find the servers are always so professional and go that extra mile to make us feel special and accommodate us.
