   We had not been for a long time so it was like a whole new experience . From start to finish everything was amazing . Our sever was fabulous and the food to die for . It may have been a while but we will be back 5 stars

   Always delicious food - the swordfish special was amazing!! Service, drinks and dessert was great too. You can count on a wonderful experience every time!

   It took a while to get our drinks and the Manhattans were not up to my standard but our meal was fantastic.

   Service was excellent and food quality was great however if you order steak/pork chops, the side’s portion size is beyond stingy. I’m not a “big back” by any means… but literally 2 bites of pasta in that small crème brûlée bowl was all they give you. For comparison, a half packaged small order of fast food french fries is larger than the portion they give you with your meal.

   Iavarone's never disappoints! Hostess Lindsay greeted us and promptly seated us. The Caesar salad, eggplant parm, and chicken carbonara were divine. The chocolate cake was decadent! Adrian, our server, was attentive and very pleasant. We truly enjoyed it!

   Iavarone's is the place. Take guests from out of town and they will go back home with a story about this great restaurant in Tampa called Iavarone's. Menu is extensive but not overwhelming. Had the veal marsala, fettucine alfredo side, house salad. Enjoyed every morsel.

   We have been going to Iavarones for decades and have never had an experience like we had last night. There were 2 issues we had. The first issue was that we were seated in an area next to a large party of guys celebrating, so it was extremely loud. We asked the hostess to move us but there were no other seats available. So we endured the partying and shouting next to us. The second issue was the quality of the steak we ordered. We ordered the bone-in ribeye, the most expensive steak on the menu. We ordered it cooked medium, but it came out rare, so we had to send it back. When we finally got the steak, it was full of grissle, fat, and it was very tough to eat. We told the waitress but we did not want to make a big issue out of it, and she did not offer to exchange it. So we ended up throwing half of it away. When you go there, just stick with the pasta. It’s always been awesome. Not sure if this was a one time issue, but just a warning.

   Our third time here. Twice now for our anniversary. It am not sure we will be back. Unfortunately, it took three times to get our prime rib cooked the right way and the first two times, it wasn’t even hot. The pasta dish was also warm. I love my food cooked at the requested temperature as well as it to come out nice and HOT! It was neither. Coming from a service background, and the cost of our dishes…. Our dinner was a bit disappointing. ☹️

    We have always loved Iavaronne’s; however last night, perhaps the staffing was low. The hostess and our waiter were both very courteous. Unfortunately, there were delays throughout, both in getting our cocktails as well as dinner. As we were having a good time catching up with our guests, the delayed food wouldn’t have been a big deal, except that after having been told 2-3 x that our entrees were almost ready, when it finally did come, while the flavors were fantastic, 3 out of 4 of the dishes were lukewarm. Considering that the meal was over $330, it was a disappointment. That said, we will continue to return to Iavaronne’s because we do love their food and ambience; we will chalk it up to an unexpected staff shortage.
