Imad Alarnab was a successful restaurateur in Damascus with three restaurants, plus several juice bars and cafes. In the war, Imad's restaurants were destroyed and he was forced to flee the country in search of safety for his family. Making his way from Lebanon through Europe, Imad shared his skills cooking for other refugees, up to 400 at a time, and found even in the most challenging times, his passion for food and bringing people together to celebrate life was strong.

Excellent, flavorful food. Beautiful presentation. Friendly service. The entrance to Kingly Court was tricky, and we had to figure out that Imad’s was on the third floor, but in the end the food was well worth it.

My second time at Imad's and I'm so pleased to dine here again. Had the falafels (more-ish and crunchy), babaganoush (creamy), cauliflower (perfectly roasted, balanced by pomegranate). Wonderful Syrian ice cream to finish the meal. A warm welcome by our servers. Thank you to everyone at Imad's!

Absolutely amazing food!! The only problems was one of the chicken meals used breast meat which was dry, wished restaurants would stop using breast meat for their meals since it's absolutely always dry and boring.

My friends and I had a very warm welcome. The restaurant is smart but cosy, providing a lovely ambience. All the staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back when we are in London.

Food is outstanding. Falafel and hummus in particular were great. Fresh middle eastern flavours. The rest is all meh. Service was ok, but didn't get offered anymore drinks after we had finished our first one. Where this restaurant really falls down though is the atmosphere/ambience. The tables are squashed together as close as they can be. You can't have a private conversation with whoever you are with. It's a shame because it just made me want to get out of there as soon as we had finished our food. I know you want to maximise profits but don't sacrifice the experience in doing so. No other resting kingly court looked as cramped as imads.

Best middle Easter fare I’ve ever had! Excellent dips and mezze but especially mains were so flavoursome and well cooked! And we had a bottle of excellent Syrian wine! Highly recommend
