Imad Alarnab was a successful restaurateur in Damascus with three restaurants, plus several juice bars and cafes. In the war, Imad's restaurants were destroyed and he was forced to flee the country in search of safety for his family. Making his way from Lebanon through Europe, Imad shared his skills cooking for other refugees, up to 400 at a time, and found even in the most challenging times, his passion for food and bringing people together to celebrate life was strong.

    Probably the best Syrian food you will find outside of Damascus or Aleppo. This is the authentic stuff not just Lebanese food dressed up as Syrian. Lots of authentic recipes including some real gems such as spiced chicken thighs and cumin spiced lamb liver - delicious. Fabulous falafel too. Interesting selection of Syrian wines which are okay but not great. I would stick to the rosé. Also some very pleasant non-alcoholic drinks. I enjoyed the house lemonade and Syrian coffee. Attentive and thoughtful service from the waiting staff

    Food was excellent, server was lovely. It was veryyyyy loud in the restaurant, could do with a bit more sound deadening or something. We were put on the end of a table with a bigger group - we had no problem with it, but they were rude to us and to the server. Food great, and came out really quickly too.

    What a lovely place for a casual lunch. Nice food and good service, the place looks very nice.

    We had a selection of meze and they were all excellent we had 5 plates and pita and it was enough for 2 people. The staff were friendly and attentive and we will definitely come back.

    Great food - we tried a variety of small plates and were impressed with the flavour and quality of ingredients in them all. Service was very good - attentive staff and lots of them. Good value for money especially considering its central location.

    Food was great but then.. dessert Syrian ice cream with candy floss? As a fairly boring UK native this seemed bonkers. Was amazing. Will be going back just for this ice cream alone.

    Delicious food! We came to try the lunch, but we were too early. But the breakfast was amazing! My favorites were the falafel and ful. Definitely want to come back to try the lunch.

    Very good service, our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and allergies. However, restaurant was very loud and difficult to hear and talk. Bigger choice of main courses would be nice

    Delicious food and great ambience. Slow roasted lamb shoulder and the zaatar bread is amazing.
