   Localización magnífica, junto al mar. Cenamos en la terraza, muy tranquila. La comida estaba muy buena. Había muchos perros. Muy agradable, volveríamos

   The restaurant was almost empty and there were several staff in attendance. We arrived at 1.45pm and finally got served at 3.00pm after many reminders to various staff. None reported back to us as to why other later arrivals had been served but not us. I finally went to the staff area and after further delays was told there had been an admin error. We were served a few minutes later and given 2 free drinks as compensation. The manager offered a brief and businesslike explanation for the excessive delay but by then the damage was done. We have had many excellent meals at Inn on the Shore over many years but on this occasion they messed up big time. The waterside location is superb and I regret the discord that came out of our visit today.

   A quiet Tuesday evening in the restaurant. Service was welcoming. Lots of dishes off of the menu meaning limited choices. Food arrived hot and well presented and was good. Waitress service - polite and friendly. Drinks very over priced.

   Lovely pub with stunning views, polite friendly staff but seemed a bit short staffed as long delays between ordering and arrival of drinks and food! but might have been due it being Easter. Lovely tasty food just needed to be a little bit hotter as it was only just warm. Good portions and well presented. Over all a lovely pub.

   We had the Sunday roast. Were informed they had run out of chicken which only left beef and pie as an option which was quite poor. Smallest piece of beef given on one of the plates when the main meal was served. This was rectified quickly when I complained and additional slices were brought out so could not fault the service. Window side seat with sea view and overall ambience was very nice. The food was very good however the two aforementioned issues plus a surcharge of £4.50 on cauliflower cheese (which has never been an additional cost in other venues we have visited) on a £20 per head roast results in an average only rating overall.

   We are fairly local but this was our first visit. We had the Sunday roast and the beef and pork dishes were very good. We waited almost an hour for our food. The staff were rushed off their feet and the kitchen could not cope with demand. This was a management failing. I did raise my frustration with staff. We may go back as the location is excellent and the food was good.

   I understand it was busy due to being Mother’s Day, but we had pre-ordered all of our food choices. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks. I was halfway through my starter before the drinks arrived. One starter can a long time after the others so we were awkwardly waiting. The side dishes we preordered didn’t arrive with the mains - we didn’t chase this up as I wasn’t too fussed and assumed they wouldn’t be added to the bill. However they were still on the bill and we had to get them removed. They was an abnormal wait for the desserts, so much so we had to ask if they were still coming on 2 separate occasions. Some members of our table went off to look at the view and sit in the sun it took so long. Even another staff member came over and said ‘have you not had your desserts yet’ and looked confused. When the desserts did arrived 3 of them were missing - apparently my pre-order message was printed out but the other desserts were on a 2nd page that wasn’t looked at (?). There was also confusion between staff members over the hot drinks order for the final course. Don’t get me wrong - individual staff members were lovely and really friendly - but the service itself was disjointed and disappointing. When you go for a family Mother’s Day lunch it is so you can be relaxed and enjoy a nice meal out - not to have to have the focus on chasing courses and missing items. It detracts from the whole point of taking mum out for a meal.

    Fabulous food. Can’t beat the location. Service was disappointing on this occasion, especially considering we had pre-booked for Mothers Day.
