    Food was nice but was cold by the time it came out. Service was incredibly poor and slow. We ordered bottled water and the waiter brought three tap waters and then seemed bothered when asked him again for bottled. We also were served hot food (40 minutes after ordering) before the sashimi which was on ice, however we didn't want to eat until we had all gotten our food order out of respect for the other diners, so everything was cold by the time it was brought out My friend also didn't get her rice until 35 minutes later. And when we complained to the waiter he said it was due to them needing to clean up which was a very poor excuse. Another lady then came over and offered us money off our bill, but the experience with the male waiter did put a dampener on our entire meal. Don't think we would eat here again unfortunately.

    Lovely tasty meal for 11 at Intoku. The service was a little slow in that people were served their food at different times rather than all together, but it was worth waiting for. A few of us had the Surf and Turf which was very good - I would certainly order it again. A lovely place to go and recommend.

    Although the food was tasty the quantity did not match the price. We also received something different to what was described on the menu. There was also a lot of unavailable drinks which made things less appealing. Additionally we booked and still had to wait 15 minutes for them to set up the empty upstairs restaurant which was freezing and not pleasant to sit in. Eventually we were able to request to move downstairs where we ate but the fact we were already cold and having a bad experience meant we couldn’t enjoy things as we wanted.

    Excellent & friendly service, very good food - best sushi in Reading by far. Will definitely visit again.
