Este establecimiento ofrece una experiencia auténtica en Raleigh. El Irregardless abrió en 1975 y se hizo famoso por su ambiente hippie y su comida vegetariana. En los años 80, fue el primer restaurante de Carolina del Norte donde estaba prohibido fumar. Hoy, el Cafe es el restaurante de Raleigh que más tiempo lleva abierto con el mismo propietario.     Irregardless is a locally well known place (it is celebrating 50 years this year) that is a go-to for vegan and vegetarian dishes but also has great plates for carnivores. Thus, it is a great place to bring people with divergent palettes where everyone can eat what they like at the same table. Usually they have light live music. The conversation noise level can be loud. The food is always good. The service is always good. It is good to plan for parking but there are parking options nearby - their website is very helpful in this regard.

    Impressive options for vegetarians as well as non vegetarian taste. Well prepared! Above average ingredients and super accommodating staff!

    The crab dip appetizer was delicious, cheesy without overpowering the crab flavor. The cocktails were fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. The entrees were creative and flavorful! The service was friendly and timed just right. A lovely dinner!

    Our favorite Raleigh spot. Always innovative and fun. Great quality and nice people. But we were taken aback this time when we asked for additional chips for the delicious guacamole and when we got the check we were charged $3 for a side of chips. We’re happy about the big serving of guacamole but there were not enough chips to go with it. We’d never think they’d charge for more It’s not so much about the money as it just seemed ungracious considering we ordered plenty of appetizers and mains.

    Wow! First time trying out the Friday Lunch menu. It was worth it! The menu recently updated and I was able to try the new protein bowl BUT the best part was the homemade ice cream sandwich!!! Mmmmmm…thank you Lee for bringing it back and keep it on for awhile!! Fresh chocolate cookies with homemade mint chocolate chip ice cream was AMAZING. Made my day hah. The falafel was with lemon tahini was great too. Overall - consistent quality service and food plus you cannot beat the local vibe.

    I had lunch at Irregardless and I ordered the catfish sandwich. It was absolutely delicious! Our server was excellent, and he was attentive without hovering. Highly recommend!
