Isabelle's brunch is always great. They do a bottomless brunch, but the wait staff is a bit vague on what is covered on the drinks, so make sure you clarify before ordering. My friend asked if her drink was included and the waiter said, 'we can make whatever you want.' Then when the bill came and it was extra he said that they could make it, that doesn't mean it's included. He also became very unavailable once I was the only one asking for refills, since it wouldn't add to the bill. I'll still go back because I love their scrambled eggs. Just know what you're getting into!

Overall a very disappointing experience for a tourist in New York City. The restaurant was recommended by the staff at our hotel and we came for an intimate dinner but there were many obstacles. The main problem was that there were too many tables crammed into the dining room. This made it difficult for the waiters to make their way through the dining room without bumping into diners' chairs repeatedly. This plus the noise level made it difficult to converse. Our waiter seemed to be having a difficult evening. He seemed rushed and distracted. We ordered asparagus, but it never came. We mentioned it and the response was "asparagus". I ordered the chicken milanese, which I have had at several restaurants. On this occasion the meat was so tough that it was very difficult to cut, even with a sharp knife. When we mentioned this to the waiter he simply said "it's chicken milanese!"

We really loved Isabelle's Osteria! We happened to be staying in a hotel nearby and decided to try it because it was so convenient. Our focaccia with whipped ricotta and olives appetizer was wonderful. The entrees - shrimp with spicy marinara and bolognese with pappardelle - were both outstanding, And the olive oil strawberry cake for dessert was great. Creative cocktails, good wine list, and fantastic, friendly service made for a delightful experience.

Food was very good and they were quite accommodating when we explained that we had a show to catch. The only minor quibble is that we had to wait almost a half hour for our 8 pm table reservation because another group was lingering. Once we talked to management, they did try to hustle them out. The "waiting wine" (bubbles) they offered for the delay was appreciated.

The food was good but there were 2 issues I had. One, I was asked if I wanted cheese for pasta to which I replied yes, but no one ever came over with the cheese. Secondly, I waited, and waited and waited for the check. It finally came when I asked for a manager. His excuse was that they dont like to rush customers. However, I had declined dessert and my plate had been taken away already so that should've been the cue to bring the check. It took 30 minutes. The manager took of the glass of wine but I was very annoyed and did not leave a tip. First and last time for that place.

Just ok. Nothing special. Food was good, nothing was bad. But nothing was like “wow” either. The lamb chops were one of the best things.
