Island View Steakhouse, located within the legendary Island View Guest House, is the premier dining establishment on the island of St Thomas.
Enjoy breathtaking views of the harbor and city below from our open air terrace restaurant lead by Chef & Owner Marshall Bishop who brings his 20+ years of Michelin Star Restaurant training around the globe to our small and intimate restaurant.
Experience grass fed beef and dry aged steaks as well as fresh local seafood being cooked on our outdoor wood fire grill along with handmade pasta at one of the virgin islands few farm to table restaurants.
Everything is made from scratch with the freshest local and seasonable produce and the hospitality is warm and inviting. Be sure to experience one of the Caribbeans few remaining "Honor Bars" where guests are encouraged to pour and mix their own beverage creations to go along with a small and well curated wine list complementing Chef Bishop's creations.

Despite the recent good reviews, we received absolutely terrible treatment from the chef, frankly it was one of the worst evenings dining out I can remember. I suspect the chef's pedigree is fake, and highly do not recommend.

You know that feeling when you have such a superb experience that it is a true joy to write a positive review - just because you want to share it with others and see the restaurant succeed? That is this experience! We just had the most wonderful dinner at the Island View Steakhouse - everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed every bit of the meal, from the brussels sprouts to the beautiful salads, perfect steaks and delicious lobster ravioli - and a cheesecake doughnut that will change your life for the better. The service was top notch - wonderful waitstaff, and we thoroughly enjoyed speaking with the chef and learning about the various dishes. If you have reservations somewhere else, cancel them and come here - you will be happy that you did.

our first time going to this restaurant after hearing rave reviews about it. well worth it!! looking forward to coming back soon.

Excellent food & service. We were immediately greeted & seated. It is a small restaurant, so make reservations as early as possible. They have an honor bar which is unique. They also provide a 12 room bed & breakfast with a pool. You can see the island from the restaurant hence the name!

Enjoyable meal, excellent service. If driving, allow extra time for parking as there are limited spaces. Highly recommend!

Ambiance,food,and service were exceptional. The owner Marshal was kind and very friendly and helpful. Was the best restaurant on our trip It is a must on anyone’s trip The view from the restaurant was to die for. Don’t miss this gem

This is such a beautiful and intimate restaurant. They only seat around 20 people a night so you get the best experience possible. The view is great during the daytime and at night. Truly with the view everything is magical. The chef came out to chat with our table and explain his take on the food. the menu changes daily and everything was imaginative and delicious. the parking and driving is a bit tough, but it is worth the challenge. They have an interesting honor bar where you pour your own drinks which I found interesting. Desserts were amazing must try!

We recently celebrated a birthday at Island View Guest House. While it was a little off the beaten path, It was well worth the visit! The food and service were exceptional. The intimate dining area and view helped create the perfect ambiance. The prices were more than fair, and we will ensure we return sooner rather than later, no special occasion required.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. We will definitely be dining many more times to come. Everything was outstanding. It feels like I was dining in a different country. The hospitality, the food, the service was all on point. The owners and staff were very friendly. AMAZING!
