Italica is a unique, intimate hidden bar/restaurant with outstanding Italian cuisine. Our dishes are served tapas style and are meant to be combined and shared with others in your party. We have several dishes on and off our menu that are vegetarian and vegan friendly. Enter through the silver door on Miles Avenue to the right of Indio Taphouse.

Due to our limited capacity, reservations are required for dinner service. However, we welcome walk-ins at the bar, based on availability, and encourage late-night walk-ins to join us when possible.

To ensure that all our guests can savor our exquisite offerings, we allocate a 90-minute dining time for all parties.

Please note that Italica is an adults-only establishment. We kindly ask that our guests be above the age of 18 and are dressed appropriately.

Love this tiny but very cool place. Love to see this in downtown Indio! Wish there was room for a piano.

The place has great ambiance. The owner Roman was very friendly and accommodating. Evan our bartender was amazing. The food was good. Definitely a must go.

Our waitress was super friendly very apologetic but we were so excited to try this place for our very rare date night. Our reservation was at 615 our food was given to another table we didn’t get to eat until 830 when anyone noticed we didn’t get our food. Who ever was in charge came up and said they would give us another round of drinks on the house we had already had three each from waiting. We declined the extra round because we were already so full from the three rounds we ordered from waiting for two hours for our food and they still brought out another round and our food finally came out at 8:30 PM. By that time we were already full of liquid that we didn’t really enjoy our food we were a little annoyed that after we declined the free round they wouldn’t just comp one of the rounds we had already had. They comped the round that we declined and didn’t finish because we were so full of liquid and they gave us cannolis after that but like I said, we were so full of liquid that we couldn’t enjoy the entrée or the dessert very disappointed for it being our first experience at the restaurant we had already seen at least three parties come and go from each table around us. That’s how long we had been there.

Hard to find the location, but saw the mat outside the door with Italica on it finally. Loved the decor and pictures once inside. It was a little noisy, but not horrible. Service was a little slow and we sat after with we ate with our dirty plates for a while. The food was great. Both pasta meals were amazing. I got the sea bass and it wasn’t deboned very well. But had an amazing taste. Cocktails were unique and very good. I would go back when I had more time for the whole experience.

Food, drinks and ambience are all on point. Highly rated. The service at the table was okay, it was really busy. But our server was pleasant. We are definitely coming back. So happy that there is a cool chic restaurant in Indio. Look for the silver door.

Great experience, third time here and they have found their groove. The waitress was personable and shared local experiences. This hidden gem will not be hidden soon.

love the vibe at this speakeasy Italian gem - highly recommend the grilled bread with burrata, meatballs and puttanesca. all of that - in Indio!

The surrounding area was less than ideal, and we had to search for parking that felt secure. However, once inside, it was like stepping into a completely different world, far removed from the uninviting exterior we had encountered. Service was green however they were training new staff and their hearts were in the right place.
